I went to five star nails with my mum for a girly date. We wanted a manicure and a pedicure and got just that at five star nails. I enjoyed myself because they were playing a dvd of one of Shakira’s performances. I wiggled in the seat a bit. The man who owns the nail place did my nails at first I was like oh no a man’s doing it but it was the best pedi I have ever had. He was conversational and we got to talking about life in Auckland and so and so forth. After my pedicure he did my nails. I have been there a few more times because of the customer service.

I’ve visited here on two seperate occasions now and both times my friends and I were happy. One time I got some acrylic nails applied and then painted, another time my friends just got a nail manicure and polish.
The staff are friendly and professional. There was a crazy and /or interesting retro music dvd playing on the TV when I got my nails done last — this was entertaining in an amusing way!
There is a lot of OPI nail polishes to choose from and this place normally has some specials advertised on their window — they even do a student discount (I think it is 10% off but call to check).
I was really impressed with my nails and also the cleanliness of this nail salon.
