we have been going here for coffee for a couple of years now and the coffee is good, but the food is nothing to write home about and for catering firm you would expect better.
We have been to a couple of events lately and we’re told the food was supplied by O. The scallop and bacon spoons were rubbery and used old frozen scallops, the Vietnamese spring rolls were so big and badly rolled they could not be eaten easily. I was told that you guys catered for master chef I would love to hear a review from them.
back to the café, the menu has not changed in a while, but that’s OK because your kitchen will make variations no problem.
we will stick to the coffee and the front house staff are great.

If you have not been lucky enough to experience Café O, please book yourself in for a taste bud honeymoon!
Located off the hustle and bustle of K Rd and Ponsonby Rd, O Café is nestled into Grey Lynn comfortably and brings lightness and style to the street.
A clean, white and blue colour coordinated space, with a contemporary swing seat, and well laid out tables to dine at, I love the balance of the room.
The service is wonderfully friendly, like you have known them for ever, and makes you feel like you’re in a home away from home.
The food is fresh and vibrant, and deliciously tasty. I really recommend the Peking duck and Mandarin Salad, or the Seared Tuna Salad, two of my ultimate faves.
A great spot for a coffee and a slice of cake, or a luncheon with the mate.
