Bubble

The food was Great! But… service awkward. Waiter made a fuss of my mate who only felt like a small meal (& a drink) which is frowned upon on Christmas day. While struggling to take our order correctly, on his handheld device, suggested a side to pad out meal, then added an extra one without letting us know. OK… so I originally ordered only tap water instead of a bottle (didn’t plan to stay too long), no attention was paid to the fact my glass was empty, on a hot day when we’d just hiked from the nearest parking building. BONUS: parking free in wilson carpark on chrstmas day. The truth is WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR MEALS.

I LOVE BUBBLE! It is my FAVOURITE champagne bar in all of Auckland. Nestled in a corner between Mecca and Foxes, Bubble is the perfect escape from the chaotic Viaduct Harbour. This gorgeous little bar is not only perfect for a few quiet drinks, but it is also a lovely little venue if you’re having a birthday party. The food is catered for from Mecca next door, however it mainly finger food that comes out to Bubble.
The reason I LOVE Bubble so much is because they have skittle vodka! It is amazing! Not only can this skittle vodka be a shot but it can become (and my favourite) a skittletini! They’re heavenly! They are a perfect addition to a classy night out.
The most recent time I have been to bubble I was served by a lovely gentleman by the name of Hakan (photo on the bottom right). He was incredibly helpful and made a wonderful skittletini; I was more than impressed.
Bubble is a lovely little champagne bar that is worth making a stop off at. Its intimate setting is perfect for a ‘low key’ night out in the city of sails.
