This used to be my local chippie when I was living in Howick, and still is when I am out that way to see my folks. Great chips! And I know my chips. They have a few magazines to keep you occupied and chairs for you to occupy, or probably you should just pop over to the handy liquor store while you’re waiting. There’s also a dairy so really it’s a really convenient corner to stop on just before a party. Although that probably depends on where the party is.
Anyway, they make good chips, they usually always give you at least one more potato fritter than you ask for and the fish (in my past experience, seeing as I’m now vegetarian) is suitably battered and tasty. All the right amount of greasy.
