Bann Thai Spa

In a nutshell, Bann Thai offers affordable, authentic thai massage that’s super accessible.
I recently was given a voucher for a 90mins traditional thai therapy at Bann Thai Spa. I had no idea what traditional thai massage was but was quickly informed that it was a deep tissue massage aimed to reduced stress and get rid of any aches and pains. Ideal. They also use no oil, which is A — ok with me… who wants to be greasy when they put their clothes back on anyway.
The massage therapist was an absolute treat. How someone so small applies so much pressure is baffling to me. I also liked that they gave you loose garb to change into — no awkies, i’ll hold the towel while you turn over moments.
I’d definitely recommend giving Bann Thai a go or better yet, splash out and buy a voucher for your loved one. Major brownie points.

$ 149 for Aromatherapy massage and facial package — 2 hrs
$ 154 for Pregnancy and facial package — 2 hrs
Tea and quick foot scrub before being led into spacious room with 2 massage beds. Warmly decorated. Calm soothing music. Couples massage done side-​by-​side in same room.
Pregnancy massage — done on side with body pillow for support. Not too gentle, not too rough.
Sports massage — per hubby, very deep and somewhat painful in troubled areas… good thing!
Facial was very relaxing. Spa uses Thalgo beauty line, which was not too perfume-​y and didn’t irritate our skin.
Staff was friendly. Service was for full 2 hours. Spa located in villa. Warm and inviting.
Very satisfied with services and will return. The price points are very reasonable for the services. You can easily pay double the price at 5-​star places that offer luxury extras like hot pools and steam rooms that you probably won’t fully use. If you want quality service without all the frills, Bann Thai is the place to go!

I came to Bann Thai because it is incredibly close to where I live and I had a voucher entitling me to a 60 minutes Thai Massage Therapy.
Booking was made over the phone and the person I talked to was accommodating. My fear when using vouchers is that the service can be a little slack, this was not the case here.
I was given light clothes to change into and asked to lay on the massage table. The Thai Massage therapy involves deep tissue massage using pressure points and gentle stretching. The massage was very relaxing and reminded me of Balinese massage in its style, with no oil and no nudity (perfect if you are a bit shy or do not want skin contact).
It is rare that I love a place to the point of saying «I will come back even without a voucher» but Bann Thai is one of them. I encourage you to give them a try!
