Auckland Polo Club

I came here for a Polo event with the ‘Mallets and Pony Club’. It was a brilliant event and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to try something new. We started off the day in town with drinks and then bused out to the Auckland Polo Club to watch the Polo. It was a really nice day, the weather was good and it was a brilliant way to hang out with friends and do something different.
Throughout the day we had lunch, a few drinks, had a dance party and fitted in a little Polo watching in there somewhere. It was also great to see everyone dressed up and looking good.
A highlight of the day was watching one of the horses race a car. It was amazing to see how powerful these horses are and also to watch the skills of the riders.
I had such fun and even though I didn’t know much about Polo to begin with, I left with a better understanding and appreciation for this awesome sport.
