Prego Café & Restaurant

I’ve wanted to go here for quite a while, because the restaurant looks really nice from the outside. I had nothing but great expectations!
I went here with a large group of people. The interior was very pretty and the staff was friendly and professional. The menu was not very big, but most everything sounded delicious!
Oh, but it wasn’t!
First off, its pricey, so obviously you expect some special dishes. I ordered the chicken with apple risotto. The portion size was pretty small, and there is no doubt I can make a just as good (if not better) risotto at home. Very meh.
I mean, either the dish has to taste amazing, OR there should be a bigger portion for that price. The meal was mediocre, and there wasn’t enough food on the damn plate. I was still hungry when I was done, but didn’t want to order anything else because it cost a fortune.
We all ordered very different meals, and only one of us was satisfied. We will not go back or recommend this place to anyone.
Also, minus points for absolutely no gluten free pizza options.
