This is the worst burrito I have had in my entire life, hands down. I tried to make my own with the usual burrito combination, none of These weird Norwegian combinations on the menu. When I got the burrito and took a few bites it was honestly difficult to swallow. From the left side was a yellow rice that tasted like powder, followed by beans from a can. On the right was a few flimsy vegetables and shockingly, TZAZIKI as a replacement for regular sour cream. It was sweet along with the pale liquidy guacamole. In the middle was pulled pork, a smell equivalent to a mix of cheap Bbq sauce and animal feed. I chose that over the«kjøttdeig» because when you just SAW it sitting in the vannbad it looked like baesj. Horrible. Hear they are thinking of opening in Oslo. If it’s anything close to this level they will get thrashed.

A bad copy of Chipotle. Lines that went on forever, and poorly organized staff. Not a place I will visit again.

Norway is expensive — if you’re on Unilocal looking for food you probably already know this. Los Tacos is somewhat a mix between Chipotle and Moe’s but doesn’t quite get it right. But for the price(~$ 13USD, they dish out some decent burritos that will keep you full. The ingredients aren’t your Chipotle fresh and the selection isn’t your Moe’s. They also have an interesting price structure — e.g. a soft taco is 9NOK but doesn’t include any meats, which add 30 – 40NOK. So it is just a lettuce wrap for 9NOK then? Pay attention to what you’re ordering and you’ll have an otherwise respectable burrito. They take chip and signature cards like Chase Sapphire.

I’m a big fan of Mexican food, and especially burritos, so I had high hopes of this place when I stumbled over it wandering around Bergen. The concept is a bit like chipotle in the states, where you combine your own burrito or taco. They also had a menu of some combinations. Their primary focus seems to be take-away, but they have a small seating area as well if you would like to eat in.

First, I am a big fan of Tex-Mex, food of the gods, and the burrito I had at Los Tacos was delicious and full of everything a growing boy could ever want. The salsa was actually spicy! That is something a person cannot normally find in this country. I had the chicken burrito, but they offer taco meat, chicken, pulled pork, steak and veggie(for the vegheads). The place may look like a typical fastfood joint, but the food tastes much better!
