I love this place. not only do they offer a large selection of beers, 4 on tap from their own brewery just outside of town, they offer a great selection of spirits.
There are comfy couches, cozy booths and some armchairs in the windows. perfect for a solo traveller to curl up with a beautiful craft brew and a good book on a wet and windy night outside.
The bartender was super friendly and came to offer directions when I got my map out and stopped for a chat (bars are quiet on a Monday night!)
The décor is a bit kitchy but totally fits with the whole feel of the bar. it’s like drinking in the living room of a friend’s cool flat…
There’s even a breathalyzer and skill tester for a bit of fun after you’ve had a few!
If I lived in Bergen, I think I’d make this place my ‘local’…
