Every time you come you have to have the huevos divorciados… killer breakfast with a dos equios. Martin the owner is very friendly and a great host.

I’ve been coming here for years and I’m happy to see that Unilocal has branched into Baja so I can let people know how good Martin’s food is. It gets the Fat Guy Seal of Approval.
All of his seafood was in the waters of the Gulf less than 24 hours before you eat it. It just doesn’t get any fresher! My personal favorite is the garlic shrimp and It has been for 15+ years. The dinner on the menu comes with a few shrimp and all the fixins… BUT!!! … you can order the Pflueger Platter (not on the menu and pronounced «flooger») and it’s ALL shrimp and lots of them! Not inexpensive but well worth it! The burritos de machaca are also a favorite as well as anything on the breakfast menu. All menu items are also available to co and come neatly packaged with anything you may need.
It may seem like it’s not very busy but that’s not the food, it’s the location. He’s waaaaay down on the end of the one way Malecon so many people settle for a lesser quality meal by selecting a restaurant too soon.
They have indoor and patio seating so you can admire the bay and the vendors may stop by to display their wares. There’s a big TV that can be seen from inside and outside and he also offers free Wifi. just ask him for the code.
The food is hot, the beers are cold and the service always comes with a smile and the gratitude of the owner, Martin!

Large menu and decent service, but the food is merely OK. My fish tacos were not crispy at all– kind of mushy instead. They really overdid the sugar in the limeade, too. My friends enjoyed their meals, though.

A trip to San Felipe is never complete without a visit to Rosita’s! They have a great view of the ocean, and always have some sports game playing in the background. The service is always good, and if you don’t see what you want on the menu, you can generally ask for what you want and they will oblige. They have made my kids grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes for dinner! The margaritas are huge, and they don’t skimp on the tequila! Prices are great and they have a loyalty discount on top of that! You can’t go wrong with the garlic shrimp here. Fresh and delicious. Also… Bonus… Free wifi.
