Este lugar lo conocí en Chicago, así que al enterarme que había uno en México obviamente tenía que probarlo. La recomendación sería que vayas en un grupo de amigos puesto que las porciones son muy abundantes y parece un exceso en pareja. Personalmente no soy una fan de la pizza Deep Dish sin embargo es bastante buena. Probamos la Meaty Legend y en la masa delgada la Aloha Hawai(o algo así), eramos 6 personas y solo sobraron 2 pedazos!!! Ojo! El servicio es un poco tardado así que hay que tener paciencia. Como entrada recomiendo el dip de alcachofa, la ensalada cesar es buena. El pastel de zanahoria no esta en la carta pero tienen que probarlo, es delicioso!!! Y enorme. No tienen estacionamiento, pero a dos locales encontraras uno público donde tú estacionas y te llevas tus llaves con costo de $ 18 la hora.

When you first see the brightly lit sign in front of Gino’s you truly stop in your tracks. That is for most people who have been to the Gino’s Pizza in Chicago. This matters in the whole Gino’s East experience, lol. I finally decided, this is it, I’m going! Going on a Friday right around 5:30 turned out to be perfect, to avoid the onrush of people and yet, to enjoy what most know as Gino’s selections. As you enter you notice immediately past the long entrance,(I think that is super cool) — the décor is all wood, mostly the partition wood that is made up of several types of wood per panel, and is repeated in the floor as well. I say this only because what I did not like — was the dark dark low light feel of the inside. Yes, parts of Gino’s in Chicago was like this, but I also remember sitting in front of a brgith window with my first taste of deep dish pizza, I just wished there had been a lighter filled area during the dinner. The neat thing is most of the booths have areas where you can write about your experience on the wall as a novely touch to the interior. Wantng to throughly test the mettle of this Chicago original in Mexico, I started with the large Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese sauce. The 9 wings themselves had plenty of meat and were really good — but very spicy. However, you do not get cheated on the amount of meat per wing. Of course seeing the rootbeer float — that usually becomes a must. it was. Using original A & W Rootbeer, and once the Vanilla ice cream melts into the Rootbeer, ordering two was an easy choice. Of course whether I was getting full or not was not the case, since it had been a gruelling week I HAD to order a Corona, but for sure, the menu item of the deep dish pizza was a must. I chose the four cheese deep dish, while noticing there are custom deep dishes for the D.F. as well. The one slice I was able to take in after my previous meal choices was as thick as I hoped it to be, with the crust as flaky and appetizing as the best apple pie crust, all was to be relished and relished it was. I asked for a box for the whole pizza minus one slice, and I have to say, after walking off the dinner from Reforma to Roma, the box eas extreemely HEAVY — I mean, heavier than I can remember most pizzas being taken home, but that also adds to the amount of ingredients found in this deep dish pizza, tons. This was a PIZZA that would not fade out of your memory. Then I tried it cold and realized, this deep dish pizza is like NOOTHERPIZZA when you try it cold, it is AMAZING even moreso cold — so it certainly passed the above average test for pizza and the resemblance to Chicago deep style — I could instantly remember the firt time I tried deep dish Chicagoan pizza, that certainly was what I was hoping for. The staff /my waiter and supporting staff was amazing and as you leave they make you feel like rockstars. There is nothing left wanting in that area, the bathrooms are roomy and clean, and the area as a whole while dark, is open and easy to navigate on varying levels of seating. This is a definite sucessful pick for a great start coming off a long week and preparing for a great weekend.

El Lugar está bien ambientado. El servicio bueno. Las pizzas me parecieron regulares. Creo que hay muchas mejores opciones de lugar y preparación. Están demasiado grasosas y los ingredientes no están frescos. No esperaba gran cosa pero aún así quedé poco impresionado por el sitio.

La mejor deep dish pizza de Chicago ahora en Mexico! Lugar con ambientación moderna, luz tenue y buena música a un volumen no muy alto con la cual se puede platicar. La comida excelente de entradas puedo recomendar el dip de alcachofa, los dedos de quedo mozzarella y las alitas al pastor. Para pizzas lo mejor es pedirlas deep dish, recomiendo mucho la meaty legend, la de 4 quesos, y la de pastor exclusiva en Mexico, y para los amantes del picante la chicago fire(at your own risk) Se nos comento que el queso utilizan ingredientes muy frescos de alta calidad y que su queso si es 100% mozarrella y que trabajaron unos años en desarrollarlo con un proveedor de queretaro. Para cerrar recomiendo una galleta de chocolate.
