Mark’s (Hughes) place. Mark (born in Aberdeen, Scotland) brought his fine recipes from the British isles. He creates and sells traditional pie and mash — meat pies, seasonal fruit pies, and mini quiches.
It’s traditional, authentic, well-​prepared, and absolutely delicious stuff. We’ve enjoyed a good number of the assorted fruits, ‘mince-​like’ tarts, and the ‘ye old English’ tarts when in Vallarta near or over some of the seasonal holidays. Yummy goodies, with light pastries, and wonderfully-​tasty fillings!
The pie shop is open Monday through Friday, from 8am until 6pm. At some other times, like on Saturdays, he and his good stuff can be found at some of the local farmer’s markets (‘where’, and ‘times’ are provided via the website). His creations can also be found at selected restaurant/​bars as well (example: Que? Pasa).
