First! This little place loses a star because it doesn’t have the selection that the dominant OXXO convenience stores have, but their food deserves 10 stars for value and quality. First of all, this store does have the very basics regarding cold beverages, ice, etc. but here, the burritos and pastries are the thing. Every morning, they prepare about 6 – 7 varieties of homemade, delicious burritos(mostly breakfast). My favorite is The Brochette(juicy, flavorful machaca or ground beef). There are others(there’s no menu) with ingredients such as: eggs/bacon/ham/potatoes/cheese/beans/chorizo, etc. They’re prepared on the premises(I could smell them while I was waiting outside before they opened). Their burritos are not forearm sized, but they are hefty and come in at about $ 3 apiece. Don’t quote me on the price, but they are absolutely the BEST budget value breakfast in RP/PP. I’m amazed this hasn’t been Unilocal’d before. But wait. There’s more. Down a seemingly inconspicuous little ramp, there’s the little donut/coffee area with couch, love seat, small dining tables and chairs with about, again, 8 – 10 varieties of fresh pastries. Yesterday, I opted for simple glazed and chocolate cream-filled donuts. They have bear claws, cinnamon rolls, whatever they prepare for the day. I’ve been coming here for years(3 – 4), and of course, all the old-timers and locals have too. Now, you Unilocalers that took the time to read this review know about it. You’re welcome
