Asadero Las Brasas

I came to work in our Mexicali office for a day and everyone raves about this place.
Ambience wise, it’s like fast food joint, even had a drive thru. However, you do have a wait staff attending you when you dine in.
Had their guacamole especial (great avocado chunks) and they serve it with crispy tortillas. YUM.
Chile Gueritos — meat stuffed yellow peppers topped with cheese sitting atop a layer of soy sauce. NOM
Pastor Tacos — One of the best pastor I’ve had. Nicely marinated. And the tortillas are freshly made.
The meal was accompanied with little servings of pickled onions and carrots (both not limpy at all, still firm), boiled pinto beans, 3 styles of salsa (medium, spicy, and salsa verde), and regular guacamole.
Everything I had was great. Definitely will be back.

Seriously the best taco I have ever had. You build it yourself and that is part of the beauty in and of itself. There are so many things to add. But the key here is the seasoning of the meat (I had chicken, beef and pork, and all three were just stunning). If you are in Mexicali you pretty much have to go here. It’s just scary good.

Excellent taco restaurant!, its more pricey than the surrounding restaurants but it is worth it, everytime i come out here to Mexicali for Vacation it’s a «must go», and the waiters are always around so customer service is great!, everything is very CLEAN (important) and away from the pollution outside. The parking (one of Mexicalis BIGGEST problems) is solved easily where they have bought a parking lot couple of yards from it.

Buen servico y la comida esta muy deliciosa. Siempre que voy pido mi favorito de siempre los chiles güerritos, tacos de asada y una chabela.

Buen servicio del personal. Los taquitos al pastor estab ricos no tienen grasa pero les falta su pina. Ordene tambien un vampiro de carne (tostada con carne en tiras sib grasa con queso) y no esta mal, pero me gusto mas el taco al pastor. Tienen una barra de salsas, pepinos, rabanos y nopales con chile. El lugar es grande, estacionamiento privado y tienen drive thru
