Everything about this place was refreshing. After three days of eating chips and guacamole (exciting/​delicious at first) and mediocre tacos, my husband and I were desperate for something different and memorable for our last night on the island. We happened across Olivia and couldn’t have been happier! The ambience was romantic and more upscale than the places we had been stopping off for dinner in town. The backyard was beautiful! The service was attentive and delightful. We ordered hummus and pita to start, and we knew we were in for a treat when that came. The hummus was delicious and the pita warm and appeared homemade. I had the moussaka, which was heavenly. My husband got the chicken shawarma (huge portion) and it was fresh and tasty, complete with homemade hot sauce on the side. We couldn’t have been more pleased and this was definitely the best meal we had on the island!

I dined here while on vacation. Heard it was one of the nicer places to dine. Menu was eclectic Mediterranean. The establishment itself was super quaint and quite lovely. Service was good, attentive. Prices are high compared to other local restaurants but food was good! FYI, they only accept cash

You can’t go wrong with any food choices, every dish is fresh, delicious and well put together. You must try the moussaka, short ribs and Moroccan plate. The owners are beautiful, gracious Israelis and we will definitely go back to see what else these two create for our palates.

Wonderful place with great food. Our waitress was so friendly which made it a blast. Highly recommend the food. However before we left a blonde guy with a ponytail, an American, was making derogatory remarks about Texas who was obviously a redneck guy. That left a bad taste in our mouth. He needs to keep his mouth shut and not talk to the clientele!

Great food tonight. The smells, food, music and service was wonderful. Olivia’s is open only at night and it was worth walking by. The smells lured us in. The wood fired grill provides another sound and sense. The Mediterranean food was fun to try on the island with so many other regular choices.

Olivia’s is a gem, hidden away from the hustle and bustle on Hildago in a beautiful garden setting. Sophisticated and not what you would expect to find on an island in Mexico. The atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch. We shared a Mediterranean salad, I had some really tender beef kabobs and the wife had a chicken dish. Excellent food and good portions. Not an inexpensive meal but worth it

I have been here twice. Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent food. Fair prices. One of my Isla favorites.

The food was mouth watering. We started with the special (it was like a Mediterranean pizza without cheese) then shared the Moussaka– which I highly recommend.
The service was friendly and attentive.
The ambiance was beautiful and sexy.
If you like Mediterranean food, it’s a MUST!

It rained the night we walked in the restaurant, and it was packed, but Olivia’s still fit us in at a romantic table surrounded by plant life. This place is a gem. The service was on point and incredibly kind. They checked in on us often, always with a smile, and entertained our conversation of the history of this sweet place. The large portions were beyond delicious. I’m still dreaming about the homemade pita!
All in all, bellies full and a great night out. We look forward to coming back!

Amazing restaurant with great service. A party of 7 and it was delicious. Isla Mujeres is one of our favorite spots in the world and Olivia’s makes it even better. Don’t ever miss going there. Fine dining at affordable (I would even say low) prices, carefully picked wines and super professional and friendly staff. The ambIence is incredible with candles, soft lighting and music. Would defiantly come back, and recommend to all Couples or groups.

Terrible customer service!!! The food was good but the service was WORST!!! They wanted you to hurry up and order, once you ordered they wanted you to order more (an entrée or special) or leave. They kept pushing their «special» 4 lamb chops but you order them you only get two. When you complain, you are an idiot, and THEY don’t want you to come back. I’ve never been so insulted at a restaurant. They actually don’t care if you come back because they know you are tourist. I am warning all tourists to stop going there now. Try a locally owned restaurant.
