Birrieria la Guadalajara

The food was good, service was fast, and the place looked clean. I highly recommend the Quesatacos. Delicious!

By far the best birrieria place in Baja, and by far birrieria is my favorite Mexican dish! I give 5 stars to their juicy, tasteful lamb and beef tongue birrieria. The beef tongue one is so soft and melty that I have watery mouth just by typing the dish names. You can order them with the soup or soup on the side. I like both, but my husband is a big fan to drink it separately. However, the reason I’m not giving 5 stars is for the overly annoying mariachi bands and sometimes summer flies. Really don’t know which one is worse…

My carne asada plate was very bland, overly fatty, and lacking in flavor. My wife had the Birra and she really enjoyed her plate.
Definitely a nice atmosphere, as it was full of locals. Beware, as of this posting, the Unilocal map location is wrong. If you pull this place up on Unilocal directions, it’s a block South of the Unilocal map towards 1^st Avenue.

Oh yes. We are grateful for our fellow Unilocalers for recommending this place. Oh, thank you so much. It is one of the most delicious things I had during our cruise. Backstory: First time on a cruise (so we kept it short, 3 nights) and in mexico (yes, I know). We decided that we wanted to eat as much as we can, within two hours of being in Ensenada. We were doing a tour as well.
Anyways, we were looking at Unilocal for highly rated places, and Birrieria came up. Did i mention it was DELICIOUS?!?
What we ordered:
Lamb Birria with gravy. Came with beans, cilantro & onions (to put in the birria) BF didn’t read and didn’t see the Goat, which he came for. hahaha!!! but everything was delicious.
A corona and Barrilito (local beer)
Service was wonderful. Even though we didn’t speak Spanish, they had translators, with someone coming to confirm our orders. Our server taught us how to eat and wrap. Oh god. so delicious. I want more!!!
How much it cost: $ 10 USD, and left a tip (we didn’t know if it was needed, but oh well)

Half kilo of carne asada was a fantastic deal. Comes with flour & corn tortillas, guacamole, salsa fresca, etc. We will definitely keep this place on our radar!

Excellent food in Ensenada. The cruise-​ship tourists don’t come out here, so you’re surrounded by locals and sometimes cruise ship staff.
If there was an award for «Best Stewed Goat», this would take it.

Oh Mai gah! Best Birria ever. I was in Ensenada last weekend for Labor Day and went here for breakfast twice. The first time I had Lamb Birria seca which is with the juice on the side. So good! The second day I had carne arrachera and it as so tender! Really cheap too four of us spent $ 32 usd and we all had a plate and drinks.

Excellent food and service we always eat here when visiting Ensenada, I recommend this spot to anyone that loves great birria and varieties at that (beef, lamb, goat, tongue). Love the house chips and salsa served right away as you get seated, the slightly spicy salsa opens up appetite for main dishes if you know what I mean but don’t indulge yourself to much on chips & salsa because once your main dish comes out you really want to have the stomach space for that delish birria & freshly made tortillas. Service is super fast & waiters are very friendly. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of «bathroom sanitation» almost every time I have been there not to clean & no running water just a bucket of water with cup to wash hands with by sink, other then that we love this place.

This place is a must eat for me. I’ve gone here every time I’ve visited Ensenada. I brought some friends with me this time and the all loved it too. I look forward to coming back here. Best Birria I’ve ever eaten.

She had the lamb, I had the goat. Delicious. Great food and service. We’ll be back when we’re back in town. Price was extremely reasonable.

My husband saw this place and wanted to go. I wanted to eat something else but I decided to let him choose. It was delicious! Everything was well prepared, fresh hand made tortillas, both beef and goat birria; I’m so happy we went.

The food here is very well done and a great value. If you are a vegetarian though, you’re in trouble! We had the goat and pork tacos, and the meats were perfectly prepared.
There was a private party that had mariachis playing so there was plenty of entertainment.
There’s even toilet paper in the bathroom!

Forget menudo! This is the place for breakfast on a Sunday in Ensenada. Everything is so fresh and delicious!

La paleta se borrego a la plancha!!! Uuuuu! !! Buenísima y los frijolitos refritos ni se diga… todo lo que he pedido del menú esta buenísimo. …
Y para esos domingos… ya sabe de esos que nomas no amanece bien el Sr. Hacen unos clamatos levanta muertos de poca!!!

This is the best Birria that I have ever had! We come to Ensenada every year and eat here at least once a day. The music does get loud but its tolerable. I have never tried anything I didnt like. The service is very good and even when they are busy, they are very attentive.

Friendly service, wifi, great Birria and… The most amazing chips and salsas!
Almost every trip to ensenada includes this place for me. The goat birria is excellent, just wrap up some salsa in the tortilla to accompany your soup… YUM!
Sunday mornings are busy, so expect a wait.

I’ve been here more times than I can remember and with out a doubt this is The Best Birria de Chivo, Res Y Puerco I’ve ever had! one of these days I’ll try the Borrego/​Lamb… Oh yeah did I mention they have Cerveza/​Beer mainly local but a nice variety of Tequila, Brandy, Whisky, Rum etc… Soda, Juice and Wine!
Woohoo! As good as it gets!
