Tuve que esperar un ratito pues estaba bastante lleno. La comida bastante agradable aunque los costos son elevados, La verdad es que el servicio fue de los mejores que recibi en mi estancia asi que la propina se la ganan con todo todo el derecho. Estuve poco tiempo pues aunque queria hacer tiempo para regresar al hotel era conciente de que otras personas esperaban. Aunque quise preguntar cual era la especialidad y todo pues el servicio estaba a full asi que solo ordene algo pequeño y ya. Jaja sali de ahi pues no se senti ta comoda viendo gente que esperaba tambien para comer. Si te hospedas en uno de los hoteles que quedan cerca del aeropuerto o te queda de paso puedes darte una vuelta tal vez sea mejor entre semana pues el dia que fui era domingo y estaba bastante lleno.

Sat at the bar as I was by myself. I spoke broken Spanish, they broken English. The initial interaction was a bit comical ending me with a Malbec when I asked for Chardonnay. As much my fault as anyone’s as I was a bit indecisive. The guacamole was fresh, task and had a good texture. I added a little salt but you decide for yourself. They have the same dish listed 3 times, so be careful. One is for 1 person, the other are for 2 and 4 people respectively. I got the aguja norteña, which I’ve heard is like skirt steak in that it isn’t as tender as it is tasty. This was both so I was quite pleased. It came with onions, potatoes and tortillas. I skipped the tortillas as the flavor was better without the extra bread. I’d go back.

I thought this place was fabulous. The tray of pit roasted goat meat was greasy, sometimes crispy, mostly moist and tender and so delicious. They served it with a bowl of what looked to be green peas, but turned out to be very hot little peppers of some sort. Phenomenal!

Goat leg was awesome. The restaurant was very nice and clean. The salsa was spot on and the staff was great. I will be back. Other people with me loved the tacos.

Si paso por apodaca no puedo dejar de pasar por un pucherito y unas agujas norteñas lo mejor en kms a la redonda, es un local q empezó siendo botana y ahora es todoxun restaurante fsmiliar no pudes dejar de pedir tu tarrito de barro michelado100% recomendable, han subido un poco sus precios pero sin duda es lo mejor de apodaca Por cierto facturan la propina! Son grandes! Especial pa gente trabajadora excelente servicio!

Toda una odisea para celebrar el cumpleaños del contador general de la oficina, hubo lluvia de ideas pero para gustos: se hicieron los colores. Decidimos organizar la comida cerca del trabajo y que mejor que Los Fresnos. Si, en el corazón(o cabecera municipal) de Apodaca. Ordenamos parrilladas de cuatro personas y que nos reservaran uno de los salones contiguos, para hacerlo un poco más personal. Fue la decisión correcta. Parrillada mixta, salchichas asadas, acompañadas por frijolitos charros, choriqueso, guacamole, y por supuesto tortillas de harina y maíz. Todos quedamos muy impresionados con el servicio de meseros? A la altura. Como cortesía nos dieron una Gorditas de maiz con manteca muy deliciosas para botanear el guacamole. Los Fresnos es un lugar 100% regio y que debes visitar para sorprender a tus visitas o simplemente para pasar una tarde noche con los amigos con una sabrosa bebida de la casa.

Service was good and fast, however all the food was very greasy(I’m Mexican and it felt greasy even for me). Although it’s not announced in the menu all dishes contain large amounts of lettuce tomato and onions wich where of terrible quality and mostly dry and tasteless(similar of what you would expect form an airplane food). Finally the actual place has no clear emergency exits or windows and feels very closed and cramped. Bathrooms where clean and in good condition.
