The Acoustic Shack

This is the best place to get a guitar or get your guitar fixed in Subang. The people who run the place are extremely passionate about guitars and they’re not stuck up kind of unapproachable know-​it-​alls. Don’t get me wrong they know their guitars but they are really down to earth about it. A friend of my mums’ gave me an old black Ibanez guitar. The guitar is almost 10 years old and it’s a pretty good guitar but it needed be to re-​stringed, polish and some other guitar mumbo jumbo that I am not familiar with. So I brought the guitar to the shack (yes that’s what people call this place, the shack).
A guy named Jon attended to me, I showed him the guitar and he nodded his head. He was impressed with the guitar and said that it was made we good quality wood. I played a few songs on the guitar, just to get a feel of it and he examined it too. It was good that they actually took the time to explain to me the condition of the guitar. He pointed out parts of the guitar that need to be fixed and was very helpful in recommending affordable but high quality guitar strings. I left my guitar there and picked it up a week later. It was beautiful, armed with new strings and polished the guitar looked brand new.
This is a pretty cool place to get guitar picks, straps and any other guitar related items. They even set up a little stage at the end of the shop and usually there will be impromptu jamming sessions. Fellow musicians are always welcome to join in.
