The first green purpose built university with a grass roof in Malaysia, Heriot-​Watt University truly stands out from the rest with the green features it has.
I was able to cover their official grand opening as a part of the media and managed to meet with the dean through the assistance from the PR company for an inclusive interview.
I had expected more of a snobbish and a one way interview but the dean was really friendly and approachable. The interview went well and he managed to get a lecturer for me to interview the building’s green features.
I like the grass roots although it isn’t accessible for the students. At the same time, the cafeteria is just ok while the others were closed or about to close at 4pm.

As a PR consultant, it is my job to fully understand the client’s business.
Just recently, I managed the press launch for Heriot-​Watt University Malaysia, a leading university in Scotland that specialises in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
Proud to say that Malaysia is their second overseas campus besides Dubai. Heriot-​Watt is located in Putrajaya with beautiful landscaping facing the lakeside and cleverly designed to be named Malaysia’s first green campus.
