Snowflake serves a variety of cooling Taiwanese desserts like Black Sesame Ice-cream snowflake, Taro Balls Shiroku, which is hot and so on. My favourite is Snowflake’s Bestseller with extra toppings, which are, barley seeds and kidney beans. The Bestseller already comes with Taro Balls and Jelly with ice. The price is affordable and the food is served really quickly. Plus, the place is very clean and a lot of people stop by there to have a quick dessert.

Is this a Korean dessert or Taiwan? Oh wells, this is one of my favorite dessert place. Who could possibly think about soya ice! The creamy soya that has became ice! Topping up with jellies and pearl and many more. Such a satisfying dessert for a hot day in an affordable price, you can get it near your area.

Snowflakes on a hot day! Snowflakes features many ice-based Taiwanese desserts, made from only the best and freshest organic ingredients. Most of the time their cold desserts use soy/herbal ice topped with their signature Taroballs, grass jelly & beans! They also have seasonal menu items from time to time such as Mango flavoured ice. Personally, I’d recommend the sea-amber jelly. It’s my favourite. The only downside about Snowflakes is their location. The Kota Damansara area is infamous for the lack of parking. I’d recommend visiting Snowflakes during off-peak hours.

Ever since the Frozen movie became viral, everybody were keep singing ‘Do you want to build a snowman’ song. Even my mom sang that song repeatedly when she was cooking at the kitchen once. For pete’s sake, we are in Malaysia, we don’t have snow. How could you build a snowman when you got no snow at all? Though I hate that song very much, I always fall in love with snowflake. Snowflake is something real and true than the snowman. Heck, I just have to drive for a few minutes just to experience the snowflakes. Snowflake is technically a place, A place where you could get yourself Taiwanese desserts. It’s not just a dessert though. Trust me. It’s just a bowl of shreded ices with some additional sweet things but the tastes of their dishes are beyond that. I always go for the Snowflake bestseller. I don’t know much about the small things that they put on top of the bowl of ices but for sure they are delicious ! This is a self-service premise. Just go to the counter to make the orders, pay and they will give some kind of tiny alien spaceship. When the orders are ready, that tiny little spaceship will bleep and vibrate. It just cost you RM6 per bowl and that is quite cheap considering the wonders that you will get. But there are few problems that you have to worry just before you enjoy your bowl of snowflake. The parking is hard and limited though. You have to compete with the customers of Asia Café, McD and Starbucks which are located nearby. It’ll become almost impossible to get a parking during peak hours. The second problem is, the crowded inside the Snowflake. It’s a good thing but I’m not much a dude that willing to spend hours into the line and waiting. That is just my weakness. Other than that, everything is fine. The environment is great considering it’s a dessert premise. There are some few other branches too. Just go through their website if you want to know further. You could thanks me later.

The day my friend I visited this place, we went there 4 times that week and had a bowl each as our dinner. That was how crazy I am about Snowflake. I’m a big on dessert due to an extreme sweet tooth. And for those of you who loves shaved-ice products, this is definitely for you. I would order their best seller or japan combo. Occasionally I would go for their soya series too. On a Friday or Saturday night, they would most probably have a queue during the after dinner hours. The place would be packed with youngsters mostly chatting and laughing away with their favourite snowflake. On any other day, it shouldn’t be hard to get a seat or parking. They are great snacks to be packed for a movie at home too!
