It’s just like any other mamak, but what makes it stand out against the others is the service you get. I’ve been coming here for years and so often or not, in just a blink of an eye, what you ordered will be on your table. However, it’s getting so popular here that it’s often packed nowadays. Heres hoping the efficiency of the service will remain. So if you were to ask me what’s the best thing to eat here, i can’t really give you an definite answer. I would say that the usuals; Roti Canai, Naan and Tandoori, Maggi Goreng, Tosai, Nasi Lemak so on and so forth are all pretty good. I’ve never actually had complaints with any of these dishes. Either i’m not picky with my food or they’ve just been that good to me. My favourite thing about this place however is the vibe. People often come here to watch the game and just chill with your mates. It has a very chilled atmosphere. If you live in the area, you’ll probably bump into your neighbours or old school mates. But then again, if you live in the area you’ll probably know that already. Nonetheless, Al-Fariz will and forever be a reliable spot to have a meal, even in the wee hours. If you don’t know it, you should. Especially if you’re in the Kelana Jaya area.
