As far as porridge is concerned, Porridge Time has brought it to a new level. They have a whole lot of variety of different porridge served in a pot so you could share it between friends. The portion is good enough for one person, but you know, sometimes we’d like to have a little tasting going on without having saliva put back into it. So yeah, they give you a pot and separate bowls. This watered down rice has a good consistency — not being too watery and not too starchy or thick. They have side orders and they usually come in a big portion for one bowl of porridge. The porridge on its own is tasty, but best eaten with something in it, or you could get hungry real quick, in say, 2 hours?

People say that porridge is meant for people who are sick, but it’s not! It’s still food! An awesome food for me. Here is one of my favourite place to have porridge! Why is that so? Well, the portion is huge, they have all kinds of add ons and it’s always hot or warm because it’s served in a claypot. I usually order the innards porridge with peanuts and green tea and I can spend an hour eating this meal and it’s will still be warm and enjoyable. They also have frog claypot dish as well if you like. During the weekends this place will be pack as usual, and the waitress are not very English proficient but can still speak abit, so just bare with them if you’re not chinese speaking type. But other than that I love the porridge here, try it!

Porridge time huh? I have no idea of their existence not until couples years ago(one year ago). Porridge time has been prominent with their porridge for years now. Despite hearing countless reviews and recommendation, I wasn’t intrigued to try. Porridge time is located at Asian Avenue, 6th floor, Sunway Pyramid. Anyways, My friend and I were shopping here about a year ago. Just so happen that day, I was sick. My friend totally dragged myself to Porridge time to dine(I swear I didn’t eat anything for the day) So, I went for their chicken porridge(RM7) and they are clearly one of the best chicken porridge in Kuala Lumpur. No kidding. I may be ill that day but I could still remember their flavourful porridge soaking in my mouth. They may look simple but they are extremely yummy ! You can choose salted egg, seafood, chicken, beef, crab and many more for just RM1. How cheap is that? Their price are really reasonable(but only on certain porridge) I would definitely recommend their salted egg porridge, fish and shredded chicken with preserved egg. It’s amazing. If you have yet try porridge here in Porridge Time? You need to!!! I never expected a porridge could be so yummy and delicious!
