I love Lau Wan Kueh Teow since I was 7! They had a stall in one of the corner restaurants in Kelana Jaya and would only opened for dinners(I cant remember the name of the restaurant but it was owned by a Kelantanese). Then I moved abroad. When I came back, they were no longer there. Super sad! Luckily someone told me that they have relocated, so I went to the new location after many many years of not having it, and it still tasted so delicious!!! Besides the great taste, the fact that they put a lot of kerang(cockles) in there is probably one of the main reason why I love them so much in the first place. However, during my recent trip there(a month ago), they no longer put kerang in there :(not sure if that was permanent or not but you can still order the kerang rebus on the side if you’d like. They also sell rojak buah: D yeah, I pretty much ordered everything they had on the menu haha Aaaah sooo soo goooood! Please excuse me while I wipe drool off my face. Totally craving it right now!!! And the owners of this restaurant are so adorable and friendly. I love the uncle! Please go check them out and have a taste!

I’m not a fan of Noodles or Bee Hon. I just don’t like them since I was at elementary school. But Kuetiau is something I hardly resist. Every kind of servings, as long they got the Kuetiau, I’m a fan of it. Among all, the Fried Kuetiau is on the top list. This is one of the reason — Lau Wan Kuetiau. Thanks to him for giving me some more reasons to love the Kuetiau. As for the muslims, you don’t have to worry because even the cook might be non-muslim, the foods are absolutely halal. So, no hesitation ya? Could feel the richness of the ‘lerang’ stock during the first bite and the gravy was awesome. Kerang Rebus and some other meals also available and I’m pretty sure that all of them are great just like the Kuetiau.
