She’s my favorite family doctor! She sees me since I was a baby! Yes I’m not kidding, Dr Teh is the only one doctor that I can think of whenever I’m sick. Well due to her popularity, in order to see her, you have to be at the clinic at 7.30am so that you’ll be the first few in line. If you come around 8 or 9 ish in the morning, you will need to wait for about 15 patients in line. It often take about 3 to 4 hours of wait till it reaches you. They don’t take reservations, all walk-in patients. The waiting area is filled with all genres of outdated magazines. They are the best thing to do while waiting. I usually bring along my own book when I am there. Unless I’m really damn sick, I will opt for the hospital. I love Dr Teh. She’s well versed in almost all languages you can think of: English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien maybe not tamil. Whenever there’s any illnesses that she detected on you, she will explain the cause and effect of it, and what are ways to prevent them from being worse. She love showing illustrations of the things that she’s talking about, so that she knows that we understand the situation thoroughly. When I was younger, I often go home with a Vitamin C given by her to suck on(best part of being a kid). Nurses there are really friendly too and they remember you well. As for those who really turned up late, fret not, there are many cafes, coffee shop and other eateries within walking distance. If you haven’t have your breakfast, go get them! :)(of course it does make the sick you feel better by a bit at least) Dr Teh usually stays till 2pm only. Once her shift is done it will be taken over by another doctor. So make sure you made prior arrangements to your day’s planning. Oh parking is a bummer too. If you can, just get someone to drop you there. :)
