After a getting my wedding shoes fixed at Kate Mosella in SS2, my fiancé and I decided to have early dinner at Wai Sek Kai in SS2.
Being the two big eaters, we ordered a few dishes and one that is not to be missed is the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun. Now, you would know that almost all the food stalls sell practically the same food but I must carefully direct you to the right Chee Cheong Fun stall which is located nearer to McD end.
So, you get to choose what meat you would like to add in your Chee Cheong Fun — prawns or pork. We personally prefer prawns, also because the prawns that they serve are huge and fresh.
Every single bite you take would have a big piece of prawn. The Cheng Cheong Fun is not too thick and thin, just nice to be able to savour with the prawn well. I also like the sambal paste as it is not very spicy. I would usually ask for one extra more. :)
I am very satisfied with the quality of food at this stall. Tried the other Chee Cheong Fun stalls and I can safely say this is the best at Wai Sek Kai and among those I have tried elsewhere.
