BESTTEOWCHEWDUCKEVER! Fatty duck has been around for years! I’ve been eating their duck since I was a young boy. The owners are 2nd generation teowchew duck vendors. The recipe has been passed down from their parents. The duck is served with rice and a load of gravy! Their gravy is the best, they have it in almost everything. They also serve many side dishes to compliment their duck. They have tofu, radish, eggs and if you’re not up for rice, they have porridge! I’d definitely recommend a visit to experience a

Was told that this was one of the best teochew duck place in PJ by a friend. I didn’t believe him cause I have another place that I frequent and it is really good as well. My friend actually brought me here to try it for dinner and it was really crowded at that time so I thought’d it’d be really good. And yes! It was good! I would say that it’s on par with my favourite teochew duck place. Their duck was tasty along with the gravy as well which was godly. I must say, it’s a good place to eat for a simple dinner. You’ll be able to find other side dishes such as the stewed tofu and egg to go along with your duck rice! Cheap and good! Definitely recommend to those looking for teochew duck! PJ States is famous for their duck rice, but do you know there’s a really delicious duck rice at SS2 as well? I’m not too sure how well known this duck rice is, but it’s very well-received in the neighbourhood. The stall is located at the opposite end of the famous Kayu Nasi Kandar, next to a car workshop. Fatty Duck offering Teochew style duck rice, which means the gravy is lighter in colour compared to the Hokkien style — but taste equally good. The stall will start operating from 5pm onwards. Apart from the stewed duck, they offer some side dishes for you to choose from. They have hard boiled egg, salted vegetables, hot and sour vegetables, mushroom, tofu, peanuts, and intestines. You can choose to have it with rice or porridge. The duck is stewed to tender and the meat absorbed all the flavours from the gravy. I would always order a plate of peanuts to go with my duck rice. The peanuts are very soft. The best way to eat is to drizzle the duck gravy onto the white rice and mix them together, so the rice absorbed the starchy goodness. There’s a weekly night market on Mondays at that area. The duck stall will still operate on that day, but you be having a big problem finding a parking space and you would have to park in the housing area. A gentle reminder: If you ever do park in the housing area, please be considerate so you do not block the road or the view of other drivers.
