This place is recommended by friend with the ambiance & nice food. When we reach there, we cant find the place. So if you found Kissaten, means u have reached. The stairs besides is the road to Bangoya. The food you order is well marinated. You can bbq yourself but quite disappointed when we we reached there, raining… So we can’t go to the rooftop but only order the foods & and the staffs will bbq for us. We can’t enjoy the cooling night atmosphere rooftop with the garden setting view. Luckily the food didn’t disappointed us. I forgotten the drink name but I had shared the photo here. When u first sip the drink, the taste is superb but leave the drink longer time, the sip u drink is just taste normal. So if you would like to order, you can drink more in the beginning.

Ever watch a Japanese drama where the character will enjoy their barbeque dishes for dinner over some nice chilled beer, and said«How I wish to do that!»? That’s exactly what Bangoya in Jaya One has to offer. A traditional izakaya under the stars, and of course, with chilled beers too. Stepping into Bangoya, we had a feeling that we have been transported to Japan, especially when the chef behind the grill is a Japanese. Immediately, we knew we would be served with some good dishes. They had quite a list on their menu. We had a few portions of their pork belly and beef slices. They were thinly sliced, so it’s easier for us to cook the meat on the charcoal grill. Apart from the grilled options, they offer some dishes that would be prepared in their kitchen such as chicken liver or skewered scallops. We ordered some of these to munch on, while waiting for our meat to be cooked on the charcoal grill. Though it’s a really nice experience in Bangoya, we were quite worry about the weather too. Since it’s at the rooftop, a rainy days could just ruin the whole experience for us. Besides the menu from Bangoya, we ordered some dishes from Kissaten too.
