Anak East Coast was previously operating nearby the famous SS2 square, but they have now moved to a shop opposite Seapark Shell petrol station. Personally, it’s a wise choice to move. There were no proper parking spot at their previous location due to it being in a housing area, but now they have proper street parking. Anak East Coast try to bring some authentic east coast dishes to Klang Valley, but they have some non-east coast food such as Ipoh Hor Fun and Prawn Noodles. I know east coast is famous for their nasi kerabu and nasi dagang; instead, I had the Signature Thai Laksa. The laksa taste very similar to our Penang Assam Laksa but less acidic. The broth was flavourful even though they did not add in prawn paste. They were generous with the ingredients and the noodles were very similar to glass noodles. Anak East Coast serves delicious food at reasonable price, and their service was quite fast too. On a down side, their menu isn’t too extensive and they have taken out quite a few dishes from the menu after revamping it. I would definitely wish to see Nasi Tumpang on the menu. On a side note, I recently learnt that«Assam Laksa» is called«Laksa» at east coast.
