I’m usually a little skeptical of the countless tattoo and piercing parlors that dot the inner crevices of Sungei Wang Plaza but Zoo Body Art is definitely a diamond in the rough. Owned by body piercer Frankie Ng, the staff here are well-versed in their profession, friendly and very knowledgeable. The will happily walk you through the processes and any questions you may pose to them are deftly answered. The shop is small and cozy but well-maintained and hygienic with proper sterilizing equipment being used. While this is not a place that you would go to for cheap tattoos or piercings, it’s important to keep in mind that you are paying for the quality of the work done and a consultation with any of the residing artists is a good way to gauge the artwork you want done and its price
