My other half is always a pizza lover! As for me, I used to kinda like pizza until I’m with him. I think I got OD-Ed with too much pizza. Now, I hardly crave for them. Maybe once in a blue moon? So, whenever I’m pizza-ing, it’s probably with my other half or with my bff who’s also a pizza lover. Though my other half likes pizza very much this was our first time trying out Tino’s Pizza cause he don’t usually get to choose what to have. :p that day was exceptional as I’ve already had something to eat earlier, so he get to choose where to dine at for brunch. Hehe. At first I was expecting this to be a grab and go style kinda pizza where their pizza if ready made. So we walked straight to the counter, expecting to order, pay, grab and go. Then the waiter told us that we can sit and look at the menu first and they will come over to take our order. To be honest, I was kinda amazed that this little pizza place have their pizza freshly baked. Initially I didn’t want to have any as I was still quite full from my breakfast. As usual, I couldn’t resist and had 2 slices instead. We ordered their Margherita Pizza. Simple and nice. They were okay, not extremely delicious but acceptable. I wish they are cheesier though. A few thing about this place that I like was that they are well staffed, clean and tidy. Although they are just a small set up, they have 12 staffs(both in the kitchen and on the floor) around and they are attentive and friendly too. Tino’s Pizza is somewhere that I will revisit. Perhaps during the ‘blue moon’ time where I’m craving for pizza. Hahah.

This little place has one of my favourite meals in the world: pizza! The place has quite a few options and each is more yummier than the other. They even have one with peanut butter, or with duck meat. They offer the classic options too but if you feel like trying something new then you must give this a try. The cost is slightly over the average for me and the size has always boggled my mind since I arrived. A small pizza here is like 2 regular slices in Canada and the cost is somewhere around RM20. A medium is almost RM30 and the size is actually a small to me. So always been slightly disappointed by that but the taste is worth giving it a try.

The restaurant is located in The Gardens Mall at the Lower ground floor, in the middle of the mall. I had pizza in many places, and my favourite until now is Sarpinos. But the other day I tried the pizza from here I have to say that is delicious. They have an incredible mix of ingredients. I tried here 2 pizza which I never had before: with peanut butter and one with duck which were amazing. A pizza for 2 is a little expensive. around RM25. They have many types of pizza which are unique and I’m sure that you will never find them in other place. A great thing about the place is the open kitchen which is always a plus is restaurants because you can see how your food is prepared which is a plus and an amazing experience.

I’ve eaten many pizzas… on my own… in the comfort of being alone where I won’t be judged. But today, I decided to just let them say what they want. Tino’s Pizza takes it up a notch with some incredible-tasting pizzas as well as foraccias and fries. Yes, I went all out. Yup, judge me all you want. I had the Margherita pizza sans meat, extra veggies. To top things off, we also had their fancy dessert pizzas. Had the peanut butter one. It was insanely good. It may have costed us RM23 for two people, per pizza but it was so worth it. Plus the kitchen is open to the public, very home-styled and simple. I also like the fact that the staff here are kind and considerate, immediately cleaning up the mess after someone leaves. Also I appreciated that they took the time to explain the specials to us in their menu. Two thumbs up!

Pizza for me are typically of the Dominos variety which isn’t a very high benchmark to surpassed. Which was probably why I was pleasantly impressed by Tino’s. We’ve all walked past Tino’s in Gardens, it being located on the perpetually busy lower ground floor. One day the mood struck and we promptly headed for Tino’s. Seating is pretty limited and I don’t think suitable for large groups. But it was just my sisters and I so we didn’t have trouble finding a seats. Looking through the menu, their pizza are not exactly the standard types I’m used to. We ordered the Florentina because my sister was attracted to the egg sitting right in the middle of the pizza. Aside the egg, their toppings include spinach, bacon and an abundance of melted cheese. I’m not a fan of thick crust pizzas and after this, I don’t think I’ll ever be. The dough surrounding the topping was just so doughy and chewy. I felt I was wasting stomach space for this plain chunk of bread. Cutting out the sides, I soldiered on to the rich toppings and, boy, was I rewarded! Hot and moist, it was flavourful and the egg was a runny goodness. We also ordered the Blue Formaggio Focaccia which is a sweetish variant of a pizza. Leaving out the plain sides, I really enjoyed it. But after our Florentino, the cheese on this one was a bit overwhelming and hence we were not able to finish it. One thing that I didn’t like, unrelated to the food, was that it is pretty noisy. Though it is no fault of the café, the location means loads of people will be walking by. Pretty distracting and almost headache inducing.

If you love pizza, then you should definitely try this place out! I’m really picky about pizzas but I loved the ones I had here :) Tried the Duck Caponata and the Fiorentina which was both lovely with a freshly baked crust which was soft, fluffy and crunchy all together! They have quite a few varieties of pizzas(sweet & savory!) and focaccia as well as fries to choose from. Did not order the fries though but I did order the dessert pizza which they call the sweet custar! They have three choices for sweet custars — fruity honey pearl, matcha mochi and peanut butter. The crust for the sweet custars are different compared to the pizzas as it was more like a puff pastry base with fillings. Chose the peanut butter one but it wasn’t my cup of tea. I felt that the combination of toppings didn’t really blend well. Don’t expect much for the desserts as it isn’t a dessert bar to begin with! Overall, pizzas were yummy so it’s definitely worth a try :)

Pizza express, so it’s literally what it is. Without a full fledge restaurant, tino’s is a eat and go concept place. However, even though the dining space and seats are rather small and limited, the varieties in their menu is not! So, do expect a lot of different options here for the choices of pizza. Their kitchen is so simple you might not even notice it, but even though they don’t have the full scale pizza oven, you still get very freshly made pizzas here. My favourite here so far is still their cheese pizza, as i dont like too much toppings. Their varieties of cheese here are quite a lot too, so you can actually taste different types of cheese in their cheese pizza. Price wise, i think it’s pretty fair, provided that it is a place in a mall. However, do expect audience walking pass when you’re munching on your pizza yea. This place, I’d say — no harm trying.

I’ve walked passed this place so many times but just never ate there because I din’t think it would be all that great. However, my friend and I were in the mood for pizza one fine day and we were walking right passed it so we decided to just go. We tried the Duck Caponata and it tasted really great, I only wish they added more duck on it because it tasted phenomenal. The duck tasted a little like juicy pork bacon. Another pizza that tasted good was the Lamb Abruzzo. The pizzas are done really quick as well, no longer than 10 minutes waiting time. The service however could be much better because the staff didn’t really pay attention to their customers.

Really cool pizza place! not Domino’s or Pizza Hut but really tasty! amazing choices from Mexicanna to Margheritta at around 23rm for two people, I absolutely loved it! the atmosphere is not bad! it’s an open space, not my favourite but the food is really good! Too bad you can’t order, or at least not using food panda which I just tried to do but didn’t work :/guess I’m sticking to pizza Hut for now!

Pizza Time! Before I thought people that don’t like pizza don’t exist. I figured I was wrong. However let me tell you this — you can bring a person that actually HATES pizza and he will become a fan after he tries a bite of Tino’s Duck Caponata Pizza. Duck, brocoli, capsicum and melted cheese on a PIZZA. It doesn’t only sound phenomenal. The taste is just extraordinary! If that didn’t satisfy you enough, try their pumpkin soup. It is super creamy and you get dough slices on a side. I am an expert in pumpkin soup’s because I always try it out in each place it is offered and I have to say this place wins with no doubts! Complete your meal with unsweetened Iced Black Tea! Enjoy! :)

I was craving for pizza for dinner and wanted to have a change from the regular Domino’s, Papa John and Pizza Hut. I was thinking of going to Italiannes as it was one of the only places in the Gardens where I could dig myself into a gourmet pizza. That was my plan but I was a bit tight on budget and was wondering if I could find a cheap alternative. Praying and hoping hard for a cheaper pizza. The heavens poured down its blessing in a form of Tino’s Pizza Café. This was my first time my eyes caught sight of the pizza café. I found it recently opened and was the second outlet, the first being in Bangsar South. I sat down and browsed through the menu, I was looking for the regular pepperoni and cheese pizza but the Chef’s Special, Mr. Tino caught my attention. Its toppings consist of salami, mushroom, black olive, capsicum and BACON! on top covered with melted cheese. Trying not to be a glutton which usually I am, I ordered a regular size one for RM23.90. Not bad for what’s on the pizza. On top of that, Tino’s Pizza Café’s Peanut Butter Fries trickle my taste buds as a side. I couldn’t resisting stuffing my mouth with the fries once it arrived. Hot and crunchy french fries covered in peanut butter is heavenly! The pizza was decent but I personally do not think I would order it again. During my next visit, I aim to try their Salmon Diavola pizza.
