Love the concept of this café, featuring owls. You’ll see all owls display, murals, graphics, mugs, pillow case, etc. A very homely and cozy café with great coffee and waffle. Their staff are all very friendly with great smiles all the time. Their popular waffle is The Rebecca, topped with berries and earl grey ice cream — MUSTTRY. If you prefer savoury flavour, you may choose the waffle with omelette and salmon. My choice of coffee is Flat White, slightly less foam than cappuccino, thus the coffee taste is richer. Weekend is definately crowded, usually need to queue for 10−20min to get a table. Weekday is better, but still, tea time might be crowded too.

Have been hearing a lot about this place and its delicious waffle that many people waiting in Que and always full house: D I’m not a fans of savory waffle, but seeing from others table the sally salmon must be something delicious. Almost every table ordered! Their Rebecca was something awesome! You can’t say no to a waffle cone with strawberry, blueberry, banana and top with a scope of earl grey ice cream. Was it earl grey? I think it is! On a side note, their hand pour v60 is really something must try. Look for barista Tai and he is one knowledgable guy that know his coffee inside out. He can really tell a different between 23% or 22%. A different of 1% that make a great cup: D

Were here with family for a drink. I really like the cozy interior — it’s a perfect setting for good conversation. Be warn though, parking can be a little frustrating. Now, on to the drinks. I ordered a black, hot, single origin coffee from Kenya. The aroma has a faint bright fruity note, but I could also sense the acidity. The first sip — I hated it. I wouldn’t call it bad coffee, just not my preference. I find it to be one dimensional — acidic, with absolutely no coffee flavor. I had to add ice and sweetener as suggested to make it more«drinkable». Hmm… diluting and add additive to make it taste better huh… it’s just not my thing. I also took sips from the other drinks(flat white and cuppucino). The flat white has bold coffee flavor and less acidic, but still more acidic than I would like. The cuppucino is a solid drink. Well balance of sweetness and bitterness from the milk and coffee.

One very cosy café that serves waffles, cakes and coffee. We went there on a Sunday afternoon, and it was so packed. We have to wait for about 20 minutes before we get a seat. We ordered their signature Rebecca Waffle, which is a waffle served with Earl Grey Ice Cream. Earl Grey is my favorite tea and this is the best earl grey ice cream I had. The waffle is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. They have another waffle which is Milo Dinosaur, waffle topped with dark chocolate ice cream topped with marshmallows and koko crunch, and definitely tons of milo powder sprinkled all over the waffle. The coffee on the other hand, is not really my favorite coffee but I will definitely head over to the café again for another round of waffle.

Visited this café with a friend which is located in Bukit Jalil sometime back. This quaint café was pretty easy to spot but finding parking during lunch hour was a bit of a nightmare. I loved how the interior of the place was decorated so nicely with all sorts of informative coffee posters and cute owl décor. My friend and I ordered the Duffy Duck waffle(savory) and the Rebecca waffle(sweet). I enjoyed their waffles so much as it was fluffy and soft on the inside. The Rebecca waffle came with the best earl grey ice cream I’ve ever tasted and I really liked the spinach dip that came with the Duffy Duck waffle. Although the food was good and moderately priced, the service was really really slow and we were so hungry by the time the food arrived. Also, there was some construction going on above the café so it was quite noisy. My friend and I had to shout at each other to be heard. Still, I would come back again for their yummy waffles with hope that the service would be slightly quicker!

My friend brought me to this place on a Sunday afternoon and it was full house. We needed to wait for at least 10 minutes for a space. I guess it is a good café since all the seats are occupied. After getting our spot, we ordered Rebecca Waffle and a pot of rose buds tea. We were reminded that the waffle will take sometime and since we weren’t rushing so we agreed to wait. While waiting, we were quite entertained by the space because it is well decorated. Of course the place is filled with anything owl related and they also make use of the wall by having some info graphics on how coffee works. Interesting(: The rose tea we ordered is all right. It isn’t too strong, just nice I would say. The waffle is fluffy and thick! Yum yum. I only took a few bites but I enjoyed eating the waffle. I would definitely go back but there to try the other waffles.

I actually wanted to visit here a long time ago and it is just less than 5 minutes drive from my home. Eventually I have just visited The Owls Café after work to recharge myself. However, it was really crowded at this place. The Owls Café is one of the hit café in Klang Valley this day, thus, it is crowded. The decorations at The Owls Café is adorable and cute. If you are a owls lover, you may find yourself love it more after visitng The Owls Café. The crews are all young adults who always give patrons a big sweet smile. Same, you need to make your order and payment at the counter. The crews will deliver it later on. The presentation of the food and beverage were very good; especially the owl’s drawing with the chocolate syrup on the plate. Nonetheless, all were palatable. The salted caramel cake was quite soft but the taste was too sweet according to Danny. Furthermore, if you have been following for a while, you will realise I am a chocolate lover. So, among all, the hot chocolate at The Owls Café was quite disappointing. It taste like Hershey’s chocolate syrup mixed with hot water. The Symphony was the most satisfying drink. It was flavoring. All in all, I personally think The Owls Café does have a great theme. However, it was over-rating. The food wasn’t as great as a lot of reviews I have read before. If you ask me whether it is worthy to go, I will say yes for the theme, but not for the food and beverages.

Trying to find parking here would be pretty frustrating as the whole area is very congested because of the many offices around here so I suggest that if you’re going with friends, that you carpool. I went here with a friend recently since she was raving about how good their waffles were and i have to say that I wasn’t dissapointed! Though the waffles aren’t the best I’ve had, they were pretty good. Most of the time they’re served in pretty flower shapes but on the day I paid a visit they were serving regular shaped ones. We ordered Rebecca, which is a plain waffle with a scoop of Earl Grey ice cream and generously topped with chopped strawberries, bananas, blueberries and slivered almonds and dessicated coconut. I wasn’t expecting to like the Earl Grey flavored ice cream but I ended up loving it. The flavor is strong without being too overwhelming and goes perfectly with the berries and banana that accompany it. We also ordered The Lady which is an Earl Grey sponge cake with layers of Lychee cream in between and rose petals on top. Overall really yummy but it becomes too sickly sweet if you’re eating it by yourself so I’d say it’s better for sharing with someone. The plate even came with a cute drawing of a pair of owls in chocolate. For drinks I ordered the Peppermint hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was really creamy and rich with just the right balance of peppermint flavor that leaves a nice minty feeling in your mouth after every sip. My friend ordered the hot chick with is just sprite with a berry syrup at the bottom. Nothing that great. The environment here is pretty noisy and hectic on weekends, usually with a line going out the door and down the stairs of people just waiting for a table, so it’s better to come on a weekday during non peak hours if peace and quiet is what you’re after.

Trudging through the seething weather amidst Bukit Jalil, a friend and I were in a much desperate need of a cool environment and a few treats to satisfy our hunger pangs. We came across this winsome-looking café located a floor above a beauty salon lot called The Owls Café. Eager on a food adventure, we made our way into the café. Stepping in, we fell in love with the atmosphere. It was very cozy, filled with the laughter of people and the aroma of good ol’ waffles. This café had a vintage, almost-hipster-like kind of vibe with pastel walls, hand-paintings and drawings, ornaments of owls(because it’s The Owl’s Café, duh!) and a scenery of Bukit Jalil’s vast approach to established houses by the window. We were excited as we gorged our eyes onto their menu. I ordered the Rebecca Waffle, which was basically a crispy waffle embellished with gems of blueberries, strawberries, bananas all drenched in the lustful sweetness of maple syrup. And to top that off, a whopping scoop of Earl Grey ice cream. I had this beauty with a hot cup of their famous Rose Tea. Their price range goes from RM10-RM24, depending on the type of waffle you desire. Meanwhile, the drinks range from RM5-RM12, from coffees as black as my soul, their flat white, signature teas and coolers. This café is also noted for it’s porkless dishes as well as desired vegetarian/vegan options. My meal came to about a heart-stopping RM26. Pricey? Yes, most definitely. But definitely worth the walk in the sweltering heat of our climate, thus the money spent with good company. This café has definitely implemented an upbringing on today’s society of good quality cafes with freshly-made food, where one would eat to their heart’s content whilst enjoying the love and laughter of their company. Or maybe even for the bitter-hearts, who prefer eating their waffles, in the comfort of their own solitude.

First thing to note: if you’re keen on trying the waffles, go to the café before 5pm. The last time my cousins and I went after dinner, there were only cakes and coffee left. It was a bummer but we decided to stay anyways because we drove quite a distance for it. We sat on the long wooden table with glass over it. The place is pretty, no doubt: heavily decorated with decorative owls and paintings, flowers on the table, and even the plates and utensils has a feminine touch to it. I felt like I was in someone woman’s home kitchen. The baristas were friendly. We didn’t order coffee because it was late at night, but we could hear the baristas explaining how the coffee is made to the guys at the table counter. We had two three slices of cakes: pandan kaya cake, black sesame tofu cake, and a lemon cake. The pandan kaya cake was a bit off with not much kaya flavour in it. The black sesame cake and the lemon cake were pretty good. I personally enjoyed the black sesame one the most. Disclaimer: these are not the real names of the cakes. I forgot the actual names for it because I had them some time ago.

The Owls Café is a terrible name for a café, but it does give a pretty good impression in their food and coffee. For what is is worth, their cup of latte is fresh, and not as acidic as it should be, which meant that they are using fresh milk for the job. My friend is a huge fan of their Rebecca pancake, because apparently he is lonely, sad and needs some blueberry love. I obliged and it tasted as good as it looks. Pretty amazing, really. There isn’t any negative comments for this café, apart from the parking. Gosh, I hate the parking. Hate it. Despise it. Argh.

Food: 3⁄5 Décor: 3⁄5 Service: 3⁄5 My girlfriend and her group of girls had a bridal shower for a friend in Owl’s Café. When I went and picked her up, they were not done yet hence I took a seat at a table nearby to give them some time and privacy. I was surprised that a café, which is not located in a super popular area in Klang Valley and not located on the ground floor would be so popular. It was almost packed when I arrived. I would say the decoration of the place was more female-friendly as the decorations were more inclined toward the cute description and even some of the cups and sauce pans were with floral designs. No wonder my girlfriend and her group of friends chose this café for their friend’s bridal shower. I ordered a cup of coffee while waiting and doing some work. They coffee didn’t left me with much impression as it was pretty normal. I had some of the leftover waffles from the bridal shower party as they can’t finish the food that they ordered. I find the savoury waffles quite interesting. Though increasing, there were still not many cafes offer the out of tradition waffles. I’ve always love salmon so, I really liked the waffle with smoked salmon but the duck waffle had a really attractive herb twist to it. Therefore, I can’t really decide which waffle I liked better.

Food: 3⁄5 Décor: 4⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 It was for our friend’s bridal shower. We made a reservation for a section of the café to celebrate her upcoming big day! The Owl’s café has a really cute interior design. The art paintings on the walls especially was cheerful and well-suited for their theme of owls. The waiters were really helpful. They tried to cater to our needs as much as possible, hoping to make it a really memorable gathering for the bride-to-be. I had a rose latte. It was not bad but not among the list that I would crave for. We ordered some waffles to share as well — 2 savoury ones and 1 sweet waffle. We had the milo dinosaur(sweet), sally salmon waffle(savoury), and duffy duck waffle(waffle). I find the too savoury waffles a little too salty hence, my personal favourite would be the milo dinosaur waffle. It was topped with dark chocolate ice cream, alot of milo powder, marshmallow, and coco crunch. Though it may end up being a little messy during and after eating, the happiness after eating it just makes the hassle all worthwhile. We had a great time there with the bride-to-be although towards the end of the session the café became increasingly crowded and hence the noise level went up. So, I wouldn’t say this café is the best place for a bridal shower especially during the weekend.

Another day, another café hop with my bro. This time we took a long a drive down to Bukit Jalil, where Owl’s Café lies. I heard from friends as well that they serve superb waffles. My bro and I are here to test that out. Parking was a hassle in the afternoon, took us about 10 – 15 minutes to get one. We were early so the lunch crowd hasn’t arrive yet. I gave rebecca try. When I meant Rebecca is a waffle that comes with a scoop of white chocolate lavender ice cream topped with blueberries, strawberry, banana and icing sugar. And yes, it taste really good. Indeed, this waffle is one of the best sellers for them. Just like the name of the café, most deco inside are owl based theme like the graffiti, candle holder and many more. With a nice ambience of chilling and coziness, who doesn’t wabt to visit this café?
