The Olive Tree

I recently attended a lunch meeting held at this Authentic Northern Indian restaurant, a meeting which I was particularly excited about as we were about to close a major deal. The restaurant chosen by my colleague was the perfect place to house said excitement. The interior space reminded me of one of those gentlemen clubs with the dark wallpapers and maroon and brown couches. Being a smoker, there were a couple of tables outside to head to for a quick smoke.
Soon after we wrapped up with the meeting, we proceeded to order our food. The first thing that caught my attention was the Kastoori Botti Kebab which is basically a Lamb dish and Prawn Angara which was a spicy prawn dish with a thick gravy to boot (great as a dip!) and because it was a particularly scorching afternoon, a mango lassi. Needless to say, the food was good and the lassi was phenomenal, exactly what was needed to soothe the throat. I was wondering to myself why can’t more lunch meeting be in places like this?
All in all, it was a good day for my team and I, we closed the deal and our tummies were in an Indian food daze. This restaurant would be high on our list of lunch meeting venues!
