Apart from being a popular jogging and exercise spot, Bukit Jalil park is also famous as a photography location. The downside here however, is that toilets are few and far between. So you’d have to change from home or walk extremely far to find the washrooms. However, due to the various cultural themed gardens in one part of the park, you have an easy shoot location that is free and you don’t need permission as this place is public. However, if you are exercising, be sure to pack a bottle of water as there are almost no drink dispensers in the park. There are several vendors selling health drinks(mixture of fruit and veggie juices) at the exit/entrance but that’s as much as I recall.

A tremendous good spot for joggers. I used to jog here since at least ten years ago, and have been coming here to jog every now and then as I have shifted nearer now. The park is full of joggers every morning especially on weekends. Joggers arrive as early as around five or six o’clock in the morning. The flow of visitors continues until around nine to ten o’clock usually. There are a few entrances to the park, there is one along Bukit Jalil Highway and one in front of Jalan Jalil Perkasa 4 which I always use. Both have car parks. The park is well-maintained. The very first thing that attracted me in this park were the«mini country showcase» a.k.a international garden where I can take good photos. For those who have never been here, give this park a visit at least once.
