Stevens Corner OUG

I like to support businesses that are ethical. When you look at the workers at Steven’s, they all look really tired. I asked one of their workers if he is okay and he said that he has been working 18 hours straight with no rest and all this for only RM900 a month. It is worker abuse in the highest order.
Place was crazy crowded, hell on earth kind of place. Lack of servers meant nobody would come to take your order or clean your table. The food was nothing to shout about.
Avoid like the plague. Question is… Why is it so crowded? Lack of choice in the area?

I came all the way for their famous cheese naan, and it end up by ruining my night. First, it was packed and we got a seat and waited the waiter to serve us. 5minutes, 10minutes it’s alright, till 15minutes I waved my hand on every single waiter to get my order and they just smiled and me and says ‘nanti’. I’ve been waiting for almost 20minutes to place my order.
I’d ordered 2 milo ice, 2 maggie goreng ayam and 1 double cheese naan. The maggie came fast, while the cheese naan doesn’t came in 30minutes time. They’re most likely to forget, so I’ve reminded them once and the waiter who served us said the next one would be us. Ok, we wait again. Endlessly waiting, another 15minutes. We went off. Seriously bad service, I couldn’t understand why?
Anddd, if you can’t withstand with smokers, please do not want to give a try at this place. It’s actually indoor but smoking is allowed inside and everyone will be smoking.
Not sure if it wasn’t my day or this mamak is too proud of their naan and dont even give a fuck to service their customers.
Would not go again. NO MATTER HOW NICE THE CHEESE NAAN TASTE.

One word (well, actually two). Cheese Naan. This place serves what has got to be the most heavenly cheese naan in the entire KL. Usually you’d get only a miserable piece of cheese from a plastic wrap in the middles of your flatbread but no, Steven’s corner stuffs the entire Naan full of gooey parmesan. Which makes it almost like a pizza.
Apart from that, do try their roti cheese. Just like the naan it is stuffed with a generous amount of cheese. Their other rotis and indo mee is great too. Ideal for evenings when you have a craving for good old mamak fare.

Stevens Corner is the place to go if you’re ever looking for a good round of cheese naan. I don’t come here often but on the days I do, I find the service pretty bad, even after sitting down for a good 10 minutes I find no one remotely close to attending to my orders without me having to swivel my hands like a mad man. I still recall ordering a ‘teh ais’ and reconfirming it with the waiter twice before he proceeded to bring me a glass of ‘teh’o ais’, while the naan took 20 minutes or so. Sometimes it’s just not your day. Hopefully my next visit to once again enjoy some the best ever cheese naan (at least from my experiences) prove to be more fruitful
