Speedy Video

Speedy Video doesn’t just sell DVDs and CDs, they even sell toys and action figures. I kid you not, every branch I have seen will have a selection of children’s toys just out front. I’m sure it annoys the many parents out there whose kids beg for the pretend kitchen set or the latest Queen Elsa doll.
All kidding aside, if you wish to purchase an older movie or some series for the kids (i.e. Sesame Street, Dora, Angelina Ballerina etc), then Speedy is the place to be. In this age of downloading everything, it’s nice to browse around a physical store and pick up a copy of The Sound of Music. They also have Blurays and CDs, although the selection varies from store to store.
At this one, they have a big TV just out front and will usually play a recent movie to entice people to come in. Once they were playing Frozen and I swear every kid in GE Mall congregated here! They do also carry CD cleaners, cases and as mentioned, a range of children’s toys. They have Minion soft toys, Big Hero 6 merchandise, toy supermarket, girls’ dressing table and even a toolset for the boys. Actually, you probably don’t even need to visit Toys R Us when you’re here, just shop for your kids’ toys at Speedy!
