Sooka Sentral is one of the hotspots in Kuala Lumpur Sentral area. It is located just opposite the KL Sentral and Aloft Hotel. It attracts lots of working adults especially during lunch hour, since there are many corporations and companies nearby. Sooka Sentral has about 6 floors, and most of the shops are restaurants and cafes. Besides, it has wide range of services from hair salon, fitness centre, reflexology to spa, and even clinic. I personally love its food court at the top floor of Sooka Sentral. The food court offers lots if different cuisines such as Chinese, Malay’s, Japanese, Korean and Western foods, and the prices are reasonable(around RM10 per person) too! It’s definitely a good place to go if you want cheaper but nice foods in KL area.

It was my first time coming to this food court. My lovely colleagues brought me here for lunch. There’s Korean food, western food, nasi kukus, nasi campur, chicken rice, Chinese stall and a few more(couldn’t remember it all). I’m not feeling that well and wanted to have something simple, so I went to the Chinese stall which is also the stall with the longest queue(which means their food are not bad I guess). Funny enough, all my colleagues ended up queuing at the same stall except for one who goes for western food(chicken chop with spaghetti that comes with a bowl of soup and a cuppa tea). I’m quite impressed with the variety of noodles that this Chinese stall serve. They have all sorts of noodles(cooked in many different ways) such as Cantonese style noodles, fish head noodles, bitter gourd noodles, noodle soup, noodles with fish paste and so many more! Oh, they have fried rice too! The best part is, this Chinese stall is halal and the cooks are all Muslim. Yay for everyone! By the way, they are super efficient too! The clear the queue so fast even when everyone is ordering different type of noodles. I had their noodle soup with bitter gourd for RM7.50. It was alright. Simple and nice as I wanted. My colleagues likes coming to this food court because it is one of the most reasonably priced food court in this area. Still expensive though if I were to compare it to Klang food. *sob* *sob* But if it were to be compared to other food courts in this area(such as Nu Sentral mall’s food court), their price are considered quite reasonable.
