Riblee’s

Not a huge fan of ribs as I’m a carnivorous person and the lack of meat i find on ribs just doesn’t do my tummy justice. Despite that, seeing a cash voucher for Riblees on Groupon just caused an itch in my finger to buy it. So that’s probably why i still came here. I chose a seat outside as it was pretty noisy inside due to a big group having some sort of celebration. Outside however, didn’t quite have an ambiance as good as inside. Besides that, the ribs was actually pretty good as it was quite tender and the way i judge ribs is by how easily they fall off the bone. Like I anticipated, I didn’t feel full despite having half a slab to myself. Maybe I’m just a monster.
Parking here is alright, not quite as easy depending on the day i guess, Sometimes there’s the illegal ‘Jaga” who would come and collect money from you so be wary of them.

Came here with the bf this afternoon and it was empty. But I presume that it gets busier at night just like the other restaurants around it.
Riblee’s is located on the second floor right next to a beauty salon. Entering the restaurant I felt a very homely vibe throughout. Wooden chairs and south American feel. We decided to seat ourselves in the outdoor seating area where it was cooling due to the ceiling fans. Tables outside were also much bigger. This place is great for a group gathering.
Food wise was okay. had the sweet potato fries which could do with a bit more salt, the signature riblee’s baby back ribs was a bit dry although the sauce on the side made it better. The cajun fish salad was also a disappointment with what seemed like just a spoonful of mashed up fish.
Service was great however as well as ambience while food was okay. Would recommend for big groups.
