One Noodle is that typical Chinese noodle shop that plagued the KL and PJ communities due to the resurgence of Chinese pan mees. Does it taste good? Yes it does. Oh, it does. You can have their char siew noodles for a slightly steep price, but what you get back is a bowl of steaming hot strands of noodles that tastes heavenly. They also offer ramen, a thing that most Chinese noodle restaurants are not too eager to try. With their innovations and their flavor profile, it is no wonder that this place is hyping up despite the dreary ambience. Of course, you cannot take my word for it. If you love pork and good food, you should already know of this place by now, feasting in the broth and the sheer tastiness of it.

A friend who lives in Kepong recommended me this restaurant and I was thrilled since I’m a fan of Ramen. This place is located in Kepong Baru where the old and famous market is located. Chef is a Chinese lady and she had some foreigners who helped her out. But most of the cooking was done by herself which explains the taste had maintained. I order a nice bowl of pork ramen noodles — original flavour and loved it! The taste isn’t strong, no strong smell of pork. The price ranges from RM10.80 onwards. They do have other side dishes or rice but I didn’t try so couldn’t comment. This cosy place is just a perfect fit for a nice afternoon meal!

One Noodle is located rather an assuredly sidewalk of roadside in Kepong Baru, though it might come to a challenge for parking during peak hours. However, this restaurant is something you wouldn’t want to miss. One Noodle offers a wide array of Chinese traditional noodle of all kind. Their menu displayed the variety of noodle with pictures and pretty straightforward. Anyways, my sister and I were here today for our brunch– we both ordered a pork slice noodle(RM10.80– Original, RM11.80-Spicy) and they were super palatable. Their noodle includes succulent pork slices, fresh slices of vege, scrummy seaweed, egg and intriguing soup base. For their beverages, we decided to go for their milk tea and coffee– somewhat ordinary but however it might be a little overwhelmed with sweetness(in my opinion). On their ambience wise– pretty cozy and quiet, nothing extraordinary nor shabby but I was amazed by their quick and friendly service. Besides, their restaurant are not loaded with people so don’t worry about finding a table. Have you tried this restaurant? If you don’t? you need to!!! I have never thought a simple noodle could be that tender and delightful.
