Though environment is comfortable for hangout sessions or for business meetings, food is limited. Food is pretty much frozen and reheated when ordered. Coffee has been awful of late.
You can’t charge RM8 for a cup of Flat white that is no where near a flatwhite, and looks more like tea and tastes horrible!
If you have a choice? this would be the last place you should ever choose as a lunch option.

Life Tree should be a place that offers a trendy hangout area and it should be offering not just coffee or drinks per say, they are also offering food and the menu is very simple nothing extraordinary. I’ve been here to meet up a friend and find it is just an ordinary café and I wonder how can they actually sustain themselves when the crowd is so little throughout our 3 hours there.
Service is relatively slow and to wait for a good 15 minutes before our drinks can be served. It was only two tables when I was there. Cakes here is only so so and I’ve tasted much better ones.
But I must say these people are quite polite and friendly so I find it very comfortable sitting here and enjoy my appointment.

I’ve been to Life Tree for a farewell gathering. We booked the whole room to ourselves. The room is on the left upon entering the café. It has a sofa, a huge table, small coffee tables and chair. What I like about it is that we can close the door and do whatever we like to inside. It is spacious, so the kids could run around. The room felt more like a living room of a person’s house. It not to say very comfy, but it is lightly decorated. I’ve tried their mint hot chocolate, and it wasn’t too bad. There is a tinge of mint flavour that has a cooling after taste and it balanced of the chocolate. As for the service, well, I didn’t quite like the service there. The person at the cashier was a little rude.

If I could give zilch star as the lowest review, this place would be the winner. Please try at your own risk and here is my review why do I find this place sucks:
1) The coffee sucks big time
I might not an expert in coffee but I know how to identify a good cup of Ice Americano because it is one of my staple orders at any café. A café that couldn’t even make a cup of basic Americano failed their duty as a café/​coffee house. The Americano at Lifetree failed because the espresso tastes so weak I can barely taste any coffee (imbalance ration of espresso and water). Also, it tastes sour; which indicated a mediocre barrister who do not know how to control the temperature. Yet, they charged at the same price as Starbucks while I could get myself a better cup of coffee at Starbucks. I couldn’t even convince myself to try the cake they have.
2) Slow service
Yes the waitresses are friendly but that doesn’t make up for an extremely slow service and what more a highly error service. We ordered 3 beverages and it wasn’t served until 20 min later and one of the beverages was mistakenly served. The second time I went back, not only it is still slow but it was not friendly anymore.
3) Dishonest price quotation
I had my club celebration for 25 pax at this place. At RM700, they only offered us nasi lemak, rendang chicken, (partially uncooked) spaghetti, and watermelon pieces. There was no drinks served and most of us are not full with the little quantity served. For RM700, we can get better food!
not coming to this place anymore for the price isn’t wallet friendly and it is not worth it. Parking is hard to find too. Let me know if you experience the same or the exactly opposite.
