I was visiting a friend here and it was time to eat. The place has quite a variety of food to eat, but I decided it was a kopitiam kinda day. The closest to this was Kluang Station. Seeing it’s location and establishment, I was expecting to pay a higher price for my local food, but I didn’t expect it to be that high. RM14 for a Nasi Lemak with fried chicken and RM17 for a Hainanese Chicken Rice. Fine, you know it’s okay once in a while, it should be worth it. Never was I so wrong, the portion was children size! Well, maybe for me, still I expected something more tasty and proportionate. I would say the fried chicken tasted okay, but everything else was wrong. The sambal was not fresh, the rice was so little I could count the grains. It’s just not my thing to pay such a price and get something that doesn’t pass. Even the drinks here were expensive, with the normal kopitiam drinks ranging from RM4 to RM7. BE afraid!
