I was at a CROSSROADS Sometimes in life you come to a CROSSROADS and you need to just sit and take it all in. That is EXACTLY what I did here! I was actually here to go to the Hard Rock Café which is attached to the Concord Hotel. This place is located inside the hotel and is a lounge area that offers some food but mostly drinks. They pretty much cater to the guest that are staying at this hotel but they had NO problems with my mid-morning drop in for a drink while I was waiting for the Hard Rock Café to open for lunch! There was no one in the lounge area EXCEPT me and my travel buddy so we pick a sofa area to chill-ax in. SUPERCOMFY sofa and chairs! We were just gonna hang out but decided to get something to drink to pass the time. My travel buddy got café latte which came with a biscuit! I ordered the Singapore sling since I was planning to hop over to Singapore later that week. I wanted to compare and see which of the two was better. There was only one mix-o-logist since it wasn’t busy which was fine. We walked up to the bar and ordered and went to sit back down. Moments later our drinks came out! My Singapore Sling was BOMB-A-LICIOUS and did not disappoint! It was also a bit strong and since I had NOT eaten yet it went straight to my head. I was in FULLHOLIDAYMOOD now and I had to… Blame it goose Got me feeling loose Blame it on the trone Got me in the zone. SUPERDELISH! My travel buddy said the café latte was PREFECT and the little biscuit went perfectly with it. Since there was no one there we chill-ax’d NO one bothered us and we chatted away until it was time for LUNCH! I SOOOOONEEDED something in my tum-tum to absorb the alcohol. Thank goodness its only a stones throw away. I think I can stumble my way over. hahahha! GOOD service and a GREAT way to just chill-ax before lunch! I would come back here just to see what the night scene has to offer.
