Coffee Berry is a café that is frequented by many residents living nearby. This café serves mostly local food such as nasi lemak, laksa, and so on. The place also serve many varieties of drinks. There are local ones such as cendol, teh tarik, milo dinosaur, and there more western ones such as milkshakes. The food is average, and so is the drinks, but I think most residents find the place comfortable to hang out in despite how busy it can get during the weekends. I came here a few times, only when someone from Cheras as to meet up at coffee berry, but that’s only when we have big group gatherings. Otherwise, I would recommend others places in Cheras that’s only a few minutes away by car.

It is quite hidden due to its uphill location.(It is located beside the famous Coco Steamboat Restaurant.) .However, it remains as one of the favourite hangout spots for Cheras-ians. The menu is reasonably priced and its 2-floor restaurant can accommodate many people. It is an ideal place for hosting party and catering service. You can contact the owner if you intend to host a function in the restaurant. I often host my hangout session with fellow mates(more than 10!) in coffee berry on upper floor as it can accommodate more than 20 people! An ideal place within vicinity. If you are looking for a nearby café in Cheras for weekend’s chilling, go to coffee berry! :) Also, if you are going to a family, I’d think this is a good choice. Its menu covers from Western to Chinese cuisine meal, very well catered to customers with family. My favourite order? Claypot noodle. But, lately, I heard the portion is reduced. Can anyone confirm the rumour?
