Love pizza and am very particular about it. Tried the pizza capricciosa, and have to say it was as good as in Italy. Fantastic ham, really nice tomato and great thin dough. Not even that pricey. I haven’t tried many other pizza places in KL but it’s fascinating that such an authentic place can be found so far from Italy. Definitely recommended.

Fancy trying out an Italian restaurant that mimics the rusty cafes in Italy? Well you dont need an air ticket for this as it’s just a drive away. Ciccio at Changkat Bukit Bintang stands out amongst the crowd for one reason ‘Good ol’ Italian food’. Located on the ground floor of a converted old shop lot, Ciccio offers everything Italian from the pastas to the pizza’s & their seafood mains. This place is non-halal as they serve pork in some of their dishes. Once they were having a pork pizza on promo, Mind blowing I tell you! The pasta’s here are very small in portion but you taste the quality differences in their sauces. I gave the ‘Ravioli Spinaci E Ricotta’ a try. It basically Ricotta & spinach ravioli toasted in a butter sauce seasoned with sage leaves & cheese. Simple presentation which leaves your taste buds in awe. For dessert we had the Panna Cotta(creamy coconut flavoured custard with bittersweet chocolate sauce) and the crème brulee(orange & vanilla infused custard topped with a thin caramelized sugar crust. I think my choice of desserts were too similar thus I didn’t truly enjoy every bit of it due to its richness, should have opted for their molten instead! A place worth going back!
