Standard has dropped! Sauce over powering the taste of the burger and patty. Had beef and lamb burger and both were not up to expectations. Patty was kinda dry too. Their mocktail drinks are a huge no-no! Their wedges are huge portion and good for sharing

So burger bakar was all the craze like 3 years ago. Everyone was having it and new burger bakar stalls were popping up like mushrooms. But the best and first burger bakar is burger bakar kaw kaw located in wangsa maju section 2 and section 5. When it just opened, the wait was pretty long and you’d have no where to sit so we used to just buy back. The burgers are good and reasonably priced too. Generous sized patty and amount of cheese. We were very satisfied with our burger and what makes it better is that it has a Malaysian twist to it! They have chicken and beef burgers and at least 7 or 8 burgers to choose from the menu. It was very satisfying will definitely go back soon.

Since the massive sprout of burger joints have been the common trend here in KL, I decided to try this place because of the shop name. It’s super KAW weiih!!! And they specialize in burgers only. Haha. They have blinking lights that just calls out your attention. All the burgers here are freshly grilled. Not every burger joint grills their burger so this is pretty cool. Their current Signature burger is the grilled Kaw Kaw Burger and Kaw Kaw Chicken. If you’re a lamb lover, their meat here is imported from Australia — you’d probably know the difference? Haha. I can’t wait for the next round of my Kaw Kaw Burger, maybe this time I will try the lamb instead!

The people here pioneered the burger bakar movement in KL. If you’re wondering which stall invented the burger bakar concept, this is it. If you visit during peak hours, the lines can get pretty long but it’s totally worth. They have a proper shop in SS15 as well, but I still like going to the original stall in Wangsa Maju for the roadside atmosphere. The namesake burger bakar is super moist and juicy, and you can get it with single, double, or triple beef and you can even order it as tall as you want. I’ve seen tables around me with six or seven stack burgers. The cheezy fries look gross, but if you can stomach fries topped with melted sliced cheese, then go for it!
