1998 Commonwealth Games surely played some big roles for our county development but also leave something interesting for us to enjoy too. The Commonwealth Sports Village, National Stadium of Bukit Jalil and etc. Bukit Komanwel also is one of the 1998 Commonwealth Games heritage. Located just few kilometers away from the National Stadium of Bukit Jalil, this some sort of recreation park certainly got more to offer. The environment itself is so nice and refreshing, especially during the weekend mornings. Truly a perfect place to have some nice jog session with families and friends. I also saw that some people bring their pets here. Well, this place does look the suitable park for you to walk your animals. Sometimes, your pet also need their ‘day-out’ session. But please, do not bring snakes and other reptiles. I just can’t go on with it.

I can’t seem to get the actual address of the Commonwealth Hill(in Malay or more local saying Bukit Komanwel). However, it is quite easy to get access to Bukit Komanwel. As long as you know where Sri Petaling LRT Station is located at, you can find it. This is because Bukit Komawel is just beside that LRT station. I stayed nearby two years ago and that’s why I know about Bukit Komanwel. Basically at Bukit Komanwel, people come here for jogging more during early morning and late evening. However, if you are going there alone, I don’t think you should stay there until late. It is quite dangerous at night because it doesn’t have a lot of bright light there. It is true that Bukit Komanwel isn’t as big as Bukit Jalil Park, which is also nearby, however, Bukit Komanwel provide a dramatic scenery of the National Sport Complex of Bukit Jalil. I ran up to the peak before, and to be honest, the view is really impressive. If you offer me to choose between Bukit Komanwel and Bukit Jalil Park, I will go for Bukit Komanwel because here is lesser crowd and more silent compared to Bukit Jalil Park, especially in weekends. Who wants to have more people around you when you just want to enjoy your leisure time? So, yes, Bukit Komanwel is the place I find the most comfortable recreation park so far.
