Big Apple Donuts & Coffee

Leckere kleine Schweinereien gibt es hier. Einen Kaffee dazu und der Zuckerhaushalt ist wieder on top! Mein Favorit war der Rainbow Cake und der Coco-​Mango… Die Entscheidung zwischen all den Leckereien fällt schwer!

I had to make a rather large order of doughnuts from Big Apple for a party, with 20 boxes (240 doughnuts) in total. Firstly, orders can only be made through their website, which is alright and more convenient for me but might alienate older customers who aren’t tech savvy. Orders must also be made a week in advance and full payment to be banked in as confirmation of purchase. They also do not do deliveries for anything less than 50 boxes which is ridiculous as 20 boxes is not a small volume either.
I ordered six different types of doughnuts, but when Big Apple confirmed my order with me, a whole batch of my order did not go through. I had to reconfirm my order to ensure that everything was exactly how I wanted it. Unfortunately, a few days before my order was due, I got a call informing me that they were out of almonds and thus would not be able to supply almond doughnuts. When pressed on why they could not have foreseen this issue and ordered more almonds instead, the excuse was that they were in the midst of shifting their office and did not want to order new stock. This, frankly, was unacceptable and very unprofessional of them. The background status of the business should not concern the employee and I would have expected, with a minimum of one weeks’ notice and full payment for the doughnuts, that Big Apple would be able to accommodate the customer’s request for a particular kind of doughnut.
The doughnuts were unimpressive, oily and way too sweet. Coupled with the terrible service, I would never buy doughnuts from Big Apple again, and I donut recommend you do either.

I’m not a big fan of donuts because all this sugary and guilt feeling after eating one, but sometimes after taking a big break of not eating donuts for several months of course I got very tempted when one of my friend came over and asked me to accompany her to get one piece of donuts. «Just one», she said, and it is always this «just one» that will change everything. I took a bite of this De La Cheese donut and when it just melted in your mouth you felt like you are hearing «Hallelujah» song ringing in your ear and you can’t resist of taking another bite and another till you felt like you need another one that you don’t want to share with your friend.
So that was happening to me. Now I am on my another break for few weeks since the last time I had that De La Cheese, planning to keep it this detachment from sugary stuff but most likely when that day comes, the day when I have this donut in my hand, it will be another roller coaster feelings which most likely ended up me having that donuts all over my mouth :)

One of the best donuts you’ll ever taste at a good price! It was Valentine’s Day when my friend and I decided to go for chocolate, ice cream and sweets; you know how it gets right? So, we got to KL Sentral and we went to the first floor on the left, the second shop was Big Apples Donuts and Coffee. The offer was to get 9 small donuts for 11 rm. We waited for 10 minutes, as they had to bring out more. And all we could notice was how full and in demand the place was. There was always a line. Our donuts were out and we proceeded to pay and then went home. Once home and the plate with the donuts in different tastes were presented, one thing for sure is they were amazingly tasty! We couldn’t hold ourselves from the pleasure of how tasty they were, so we finished all the 9 of them! This is definitely a place you don’t want to miss once in KL. Only the best donuts are offered with a great value for the price. I go there as often as I can now and it’s always worth the trip.

Big apple donuts is one of the best donuts places around the nu central area.
The price is good, and it is very practically located. The service is average, and the ambience doesn’t have anything special to it.
But the prices are really good and the donuts are delicious. For 11 ringgits you can get a box of small donuts which is quite convenient and cheap. You can also get a box of regular donuts, and the price is still worth it.
I recommend going there if you want to treat your coworkers or friends to some donuts.

BIg Apple produces their donuts fresh daily in-​store. They offer a wide selection of premium donuts and beverages, mainly coffee!
Their donuts are soft and fluffy, so so so so so fluffy!
My favourite flavours include, but are not limited to Durian, Oreo, Original Glazed.
One is never enough so I’d recommend getting the 6-​pack.
Definitely a good place to get a quick bite and caffeinated !

A heaven of donuts. I’ve never seen so many flavours of donuts in my life. And the best part is that they are all just amazing. Only when I think about them my mouth is watering.
I can never diced or buy just one piece. I normally go for a full 8 mini donuts pack with 15 RM.
Or if I don’t want to buy so many, I choose around 2 or 3 pieces.
There is always a huge line and you have to wait for a couple of minute, but believe me that it worth it.
It’s the best thing you can eat in your life.
You can take away or eat there.

Whenever I see Big Apple Donuts & Coffee I feel like I’m a 5 year old. Even my eyes get as big as the Big Apples ;D
Do you know why?
It’s because you can see donuts of all kinds of rainbow colors, mixed with chocolate, nuts, gummy bears and all the yummy frosting. The best part is that it is super cheap. I could not believe their prices! It’s definitely something you can bring to a party — a box full of fresh donuts.
