This is the place where most Klang-ians religiously come to in the morning and night for jogging or breeze walking. All these while I only know this place as ‘stadium’. Never really know that it’s called Padang Sultan Suleiman until now. Haha. I’m such a terrible person. Whenever my friends and family talk about jogging, most probably they’ll be here. Well, you won’t see me here cause I’m such a lazy bum… However, I’ve been here a few times. During my primary and secondary school time, my school used to held our school sport events here. Besides that, I came here once for a charity run event held by Hong Leong bank too. That was many many years back in my teenage year. Lol. People like coming here because they have proper parking space outside the stadium and they can do their jogging and breeze walking in the stadium.

Padang Sultan Sulaiman is probably the only track and field facility in Klang, part of my childhood memories came from this very place. I remembered that most of my «Hari Sukan» sporting events that were organised during my schooling days were all held here. Even to this day, most national schools in Klang area still organises their sporting events here. This is mainly due to the fact that they really take care of the track and field facilities here, and it is quite well maintained for a public facility. During my schooling times, I used to accompany my parents here during week nights for jogs around the track and my dad would buy me supper after that! I noticed lately they even have a dedicated Remote Control(RC) Car race track which is good news to all the RC enthusiasts out there! Other than that, I won’t forget the fact that I learned how to play tennis in this very place as well, which is also how I got to know a few really great friends even to this day. If you’re lost and looking for a place to jog or to exercise, you can definitely give this place a try. P.S: Please make sure you have pepper spray with you just in case, as recently there’s news of people getting mugged at night here while jogging.
