Kris Sakti

I’ve been a loyal patron of this delightful little restaurant ever since i was a little kid. It’s been open for as long as i can remember. And business has never been better. People from all over would come down to Kampung Tunku, Petaling Jaya just to have lunch here. Why? I honestly
feel it’s one of the best restaurants around that serve fresh homemade local and Indonesian dishes. The taste of the dishes here will bring you back to you’re mothers kitchen. Well for locals at least.
The variety here is to die for; you’ve got your Paru-​Paru (cow lungs), Ayam Masak Merah (chicken with spicy gravy), Sambal Belacan (shrimp paste), fried fish, squid, prawns, you name it. The best ones are already put out for display, sort of like a buffet style. Before you take your seat, just have a look at what they’ve got served, grab a seat and dig in!
Perhaps the best think about Kris Sakti is the prices. You can have a fulfilling meal here and still have enough cash in your wallet. For less than RM15 you can get a full plate l of rice, chicken, veggies and spicy Belacan. That’s my go to selection when i come here for a meal. It is and always will be my favourite here. You can also order their signature drink ‘Air Kris Sakti’ which to be frank, taste a lot like the green Slurpee you would get at ⁷⁄₁₁. But it goes great with my meal. I order it every time.
The cleanliness is respectable and they even serve fruits here. So you can wash down those exotic spices with fresh, delicious local fruits. Overall, i predict this restaurant is still going to be booming even after 20 years from now. The workers are a family and you feel the togetherness somehow when you eat here. Come by and have a taste! You might even find me here during lunch.
