Bring your own bag to store your purchase. Bags are not provided, which is the default. I believe you can request for bags which will be chargeable.
This place apparently has been around for decades so you see many locals shopping here. Located right opposite Komtar and near Times Square, it is quite a convenient place to shop.
There are bags deposit counter if you are carrying big bags, and there are guards at both the entrance and exit (This reminds me of Walmart in New Jersey where the staff will check your receipt when leaving).
This is also a good place for tourists living in the hotels or hostels nearby to get their toiletries if they forget or to buy snacks and drinks.
It is not a big supermarket but it does cover the major things you require.
