Coffee Elements

Coffee Elements is a café located inside Paragon Mall, Penang — the second of its kind; the first being located in All Seasons Place. Although they only own a small lot right in front of the escalators which comprises of 4 — 5 tables, they do serve pretty good coffee. The mouth-​feel of the latte is smooth, with a sweet after taste lingering in my mouth; a bit to the sweeter side but when accompanied by their cakes — just nice. I tried their lavender cake when I was there and it was something really unexpected as most cafes serve very generic cakes such as the red valet. This lavender cake has sprinkles of lavender seed on top of it, leaving a rich lavender taste in your mouth, blending in perfectly with the cake — a really must try.
However, the only problem I have with the café is that it is located inside a mall. As I would prefer a café where I can sit and chat and not be distracted by the busyness of the mall with people constantly walking around. But I guess it is a good place to grab a quick coffee and a bite if you’re in a rush.
